History of construction
During the Warring States period, it was the old capital of Ba. After that, Li was the seat of county, prefecture and county.
In Song Dynasty, a water post was built at the confluence of Jialing River and Fujiang River, named Heyang.
In 1374, it was named "Heyang city".
