Fengsheng town
Fengsheng Town, subordinate to Banan District of Chongqing, is located in the northeast of Banan District, bordering Zengfu township of Fuling District and taipingchang town of Nanchuan District in the East, Dongwenquan town in the south, Mudong town on the South Bank of the Yangtze River in the West and Shuanghekou town in the north. It is more than 70 kilometers away from the people's Government of Banan District, with a total area of 69 square kilometers.
During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736-1796), Fengsheng town was located in the top ten of Renli. In December 1993, Fengsheng town was built by merging Fengsheng town and Majiang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town was 19751. As of June 2020, Fengsheng town has one community and eight administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Fengsheng town is located at 89 Fushou street, Fengsheng community.
In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in Fengsheng Town, including one above scale and three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736-1796), the territory belonged to the top ten of Renli; at the end of the Qing Dynasty, Fengsheng township was set up.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was named fengshengchang, a township level administrative district; in the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), it was fengshengli; in the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), it was fengshenglianbao; in the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it was changed to fengshengxiang.
In December 1952, Fengsheng Township and wubu Township were zoned to build Guanshan township.
In January 1953, part of Fengsheng township was designated as jianma township.
In January 1956, Ma's hometown was merged into Fengsheng township; in February of the same year, Guanshan township was merged into Fengsheng Township and wubu Township respectively; in November of the same year, Ma's hometown was restored.
In September 1958, Fengsheng commune was rebuilt and Ma's hometown was merged into Fengsheng commune.
In February 1959, it was changed into Fengsheng management area; in May of the same year, it was set up as Majia management area.
In December 1960, Fengsheng management area was changed into Fengsheng commune.
In 1982, Fengsheng commune was changed into Fengsheng township.
In December 1993, Fengsheng Township and Majiang Township merged to build Fengsheng town.
