Jijia town
Jijia Town, subordinate to Dazu District of Chongqing, is located at the west end of Dazu District, bordering Sanqu town in the East, Hebao town in Rongchang District in the south, Tonggu town in Rongchang District in the West and Tieshan town in the north. It is 23 kilometers away from the residence of Dazu District People's government, with a total area of 53.53 square kilometers.
In 1935, it was Jijia joint insurance of Sanqu town; at the end of 1993, it was merged into Jijia town from Jijia Township and Longtang township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Ji Jia town was 22986. As of June 2020, Jijia town has one community and seven administrative villages, and the town people's government is located at 199 Jifeng street.
In 2018, Jijia town has 10 industrial enterprises and 8 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1935, jijialianbao was set up in Sanqu Town, belonging to the first district of Dazu district. In 1942, it was divided into the fifth New District of Dazu County.
In December 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of the third district.
In 1952, a new Shuanghe district (the Tenth District) was established, and Ji Jia designated the Tenth District as the jurisdiction.
In October 1958, Jijia commune was established.
In October 1961, the Jijia commune established Longtang commune.
In January 1984, Jijia commune and Longtang commune were changed into Ji hometown and Longtang Township respectively.
At the end of 1993, Jijia Township and Longtang Township were merged into Jijia town.
