NANTUO town
NANTUO Town, subordinate to Fuling District of Chongqing, is located in the east of Fuling City, on the South Bank of the Yangtze River. It borders zhanpu town of Fengdu County in the East, Luoyun Township in the southeast, Qingxi Town in the southwest, Jiangbei street and Zhenxi town in the north, and is 20 kilometers away from the government of Fuling District, with a total area of 67.14 square kilometers.
In the Tang Dynasty, NANTUO town was located in Zhiping township of Fuling County, Fuling Prefecture; in July 1992, NANTUO town was merged by NANTUO, Jiaoyan and Longju. By the end of 2018, the population of South Tuo Town registered residence was 37406. As of June 2020, NANTUO town has 1 community and 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located at No. 1 Nanfu Road, Wangjiawan community.

History of construction
In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Zhiping township of Fuling county.
During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to luoyunli, Luozhou, with NANTUO farm. In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Qingxi Town, the Second District of Fuzhou.
In 1931, it was the seventh district of Fuling county. In 1935, it was the first district of Fuling county. After July, 1942, the three towns were reduced to townships.
At the beginning of 1950, NANTUO and Longju townships were set up, belonging to the first district of Fuling county (in Fuxing township).
In December 1955, it was established in NANTUO District of Fuling County, with jurisdiction over NANTUO, Jiaoyan and Longju townships.
In 1963, NANTUO district was abolished and three townships, NANTUO, Jiaoyan and Longju, were still established.
In July 1992, NANTUO, Jiaoyan and Longju were merged into NANTUO town.
