Xiaozhou town
Xiaozhou Town, subordinate to Wanzhou District of Chongqing, is located in the east of Wanzhou District. It is adjacent to Bayang town of Yunyang County in the East, Tailong town across the river in the south, Dazhou town in the West and xiongjia town in the north. It is 16.3km away from the government of Wanzhou District, with a total area of 26.78km2.
In the second year of Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty (1737), Xiaozhou town set up shop department; in 1992, Dazhou Township and Xiaozhou Township merged to build Xiaozhou town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xiao Zhou was 11301. As of June 2020, Xiaozhou town has one community and five administrative villages, and the people's Government of Xiaozhou town is located at No. 18, Guotai street, liujiaba community.
The main food crops in Xiaozhou town are wheat and corn; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry; the main industry is processing raw materials for mustard, green vegetable head, coal mining, brick and tile industry, storage industry, microorganism and plastic products. History of construction
Xiaozhou town is named after Xiaozhou river.
In the second year of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty (1737), the Department of shop was set up.
In 1927, An'an town was established; in 1941, An'an town was changed into Xiaozhou township.
In 1958, Xiaozhou township was changed into Xiaozhou commune.
In 1983, Xiaozhou commune was changed into Xiaozhou township.
In 1992, Dazhou Township and Xiaozhou Township merged to build Xiaozhou town.
In 1998, Dazhou township was established in Xiaozhou town.
