Jiusuo town
Jiusuo Town, subordinate to Ledong Li Autonomous County of Hainan Province, is located in the southwest of Ledong Li Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Yacheng town of Sanya City in the East, Dahai town in the south, Liguo town in the West and Qianjia town in the north. The administrative area of Jiusuo town is 198.7 square kilometers.
In 1958, it belonged to Ledong County. In 1987, nine towns were set up and assigned to Ledong Li Autonomous County. In 2002, Jiusuo Town, leluo town (except Wanglou, Qiugang and Yangshang village committees), chongpo town (including chongtangfeng, Baowang, chongpo, Chitang, Jinghu and Xinggui village committees), and longqiwan community residents committee (hereinafter referred to as neighborhood committee) of Yinggehai town were merged to establish Jiusuo town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in nine towns was 54159. As of June 2020, Jiusuo town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 15 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Jiusuo town is located in Jiusuo new area.
In 2011, the total revenue of Jiusuo town was 275 million yuan, an increase of 30.95% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, business tax is 107.5491 million yuan, enterprise income tax is 30.1294 million yuan, and individual income tax is 1.9646 million yuan. The per capita fiscal revenue was 3351.08 yuan, an increase of 27.66% over the previous year. By the end of 2018, there were six industrial enterprises in nine towns and five supermarkets or comprehensive stores with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
