Longming town

Longming Town, subordinate to Tiandeng County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Tiandeng county. It is adjacent to Xiaoshan Township in the southeast, Fuxin Township in the southwest, Zhangxiang Township in the northwest, Dukang Township in the north and Tiandeng town in the northeast. The administrative area of Longming town is 174.33 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Long Ming town registered residence was 24759.

In December 1949, Longming county was liberated, belonging to Longzhou special area. In 1951, Longming district (the Fourth District) was established. In August 1952, Longming county was abolished and merged with Zhenjie county and Xiangdu county to establish zhendu county. In 1958, Longming township was established first, and then Longming commune was established, belonging to Tiandeng county. In 1961, Longming commune was changed into Longming district. In 1968, Longming district was transformed into Longming commune. In 1984, Longming town was established. As of June 2020, Longming town has jurisdiction over one community and six administrative villages. The town people's government is located in longying street, longying community.
