Hongdu town belongs to Xincheng County, Laibin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Historical evolution

In the Tang Dynasty, today's Hongdu area belongs to Heshui County, and it was under the jurisdiction of Shanglin County after withdrawing Heshui county.
