economic development
overview
Mugui town is rich in manganese resources, known as the "manganese capital of China". The exploitation of manganese resources has become the most important source of government revenue, and it naturally leads to various interest transactions in private. Even the large enterprises from attracting investment, in the process of mining, there is a huge waste of resources and the destruction of farmland and forests, as well as environmental pollution, not to mention the illegal mining everywhere in the early years, which has brought irreparable damage to the surrounding villages. The GDP and per capita income of Mugui town are unknown. The main income of the residents comes from the income of young people from various villages who go to work in Guangdong. To a certain extent, it causes the hollowing out of rural areas and the problem of left behind children. What we can know is that corruption at the county and township level is a common thing in China. The sky is high and the emperor is far away. No one can control it. The land is the only one. the early 80s who didn't graduate from junior high school, that is, the young people who work in Guangdong all the year round, do the hardest work. They work for more than 10-12 hours every day in the harsh environment, becoming the screw on the economic meat grinder in Guangdong. However, they can't see the hope of life. They can't and don't want to go back to their hometown and live in the countryside. There may be no land for them, and they can't find their own home from the perspective of cities in Guangdong. in big cities and economically developed areas, you can say that it is not necessary for the government to intervene in the economic development and let the market play the role of resource allocation. However, in poor and backward rural areas, the government's inaction is quite shameful. When they "act", it is so terrible that farmers can only live a hard life of "no desire, no demand" .
Agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery
From 2008 to 2011, the whole town was crazy about private mining, and cultivated land was used everywhere for ore dressing and washing. The mining technology was backward, and the waste water from ore dressing and washing flowed into the cultivated land without treatment, which destroyed the environment!!! Groundwater resources have been destroyed, and agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery have been basically destroyed. In Dumu village, Dashan Village, wanshedong village and its neighboring villages, rice is produced half or nothing every year, vegetables are withered and dead, fish, pigs, chickens and ducks, timber, green pole bamboo, etc.

The company is mainly engaged in manganese oxide and manganese sulfate. The company is building a plant and installing equipment, which is expected to be put into operation in October 2005. the control index and utilization of construction land require that the per capita land use of urban residential areas should reach 94 square meters, and the urban scale should reach 70.48 hectares.
