Tubo Town, belonging to Liujiang District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Liujiang District, with Luoman town and Sandu town in the East, Ligao town in the south, Pingnan township of Yichou city in Hechi City in the west, Datang town of Xincheng County in Laibin City, and Liushan town in the north. The administrative area of Tubo town is 416.67 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Tubo town registered residence was 45589.
In 1933, there was Tubo Township, belonging to Liuzhou county. In 1958, Tubo commune was established. In August 1962, the tumbo commune was changed into tumbo district. In April 1968, the Tumo district was changed into Tumo commune. In September 1984, Tubo commune was abolished and replaced with Tubo township. In January 1999, Tubo township was changed into Tubo town. As of June 2020, Tubo town has jurisdiction over one community and 16 administrative villages. The town people's government is located at 223 Tubo street.

Linwei town is located in mountainous area, the landform is mainly peak cluster depression (Valley), the terrain is higher, and there are many peaks. The ground elevation is generally between 330m and 500m above sea level. The highest peak in the territory is Daren mountain in the southwest of Meili village, 712M above sea level, which is the highest peak in the county. There are seven mountains between 600m and 700m above sea level, known as "Liujiang plateau"; the lowest point is located in the stream of Wenfu in the southwest of Shimen'ao, Sidan village, 300m above sea level.

The main natural disasters in Linwei town are drought, flood, low temperature and frost. The most serious drought occurred in 1963. From January to August of that year, there was no soaking rain. The rainfall of that year was 95.29mm, the grain production was greatly reduced, and the people's tongue mainly depended on government relief. The most serious flood disaster was on June 9, 2008, with a precipitation of 154.1 mm. On June 12, there was a torrential rain, with a precipitation of 233.2 mm.
