Mushan Township, belonging to Shanglin County, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Shanglin County, adjacent to Xingbin District of Laibin City in the East, Sanli town in the south, Qiaoxian town in the West and Xincheng County of Laibin City in the north. The administrative area of Mushan township is 148.11 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 20426 households in Mu Shan township had registered residence.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shanglin county. In 1933, Dongfu township was set up, belonging to Shanglin county. In 1960, Dongfu commune was established.
