Dingdang Town, belonging to Long'an County, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Long'an county. It is adjacent to Luowei town of Wuming County in the northeast, Shuangding town and Jinling town of XiXiangTang District in the south, natong town and Chengxiang town in the southwest and northwest respectively. The administrative area of Dingdang town is 273.36 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Ding Dang registered residence was 36725.

In February 1950, Dingdang Township belonged to the Fourth District of Long'an county. In June 1959, Dingdang township was changed into Dingdang commune. In September 1962, Dingdang commune was changed into Dingdang district. In January 1969, Dingdang district was restored to Dingdang commune. In September 1984, Dingdang commune was changed into Dingdang township. In February 1996, Dingdang township was changed to Dingdang town. As of June 2020, Dingdang town has jurisdiction over 1 community and 10 administrative villages. The town people's government is located in Dingdang community.
