Nalou town
It is the political, economic and cultural center of sanning district since ancient times. All the district and township governments have been stationed here. It is a characteristic town of Nanning (huaisang town), a regional central town, the second largest town of Yongning district and a prosperous agricultural market.
Located at the intersection of Nanning Zhanjiang Expressway and Nanning Second Ring Expressway, Nalou is an important node connecting the two central cities of Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration, and is the "southeast gate" of Nanning.
Nalou town is located in the hinterland of Yongning District, with vast territory, large population, rich land resources and sufficient rain and heat. It is a famous "hometown of Huaishan" in Guangxi, an important silkworm production base and an important agricultural town in Nanning. The economic industry is mainly agriculture, forming four major agricultural economic industries such as Huaishan, silkworm, sugarcane and special breeding. In December 2016, "Nalou Huaishan" won the national agricultural product geographical indication certification.
Nalou town is famous for its outstanding people. Since ancient times, it has produced a group of outstanding children such as Li qiaoran and Lu Baoxuan. It has natural and cultural landscapes such as maomaoling reservoir, leiboling cliff stone carvings, namonteng's ancient house, and naxiao turret. Nalou town has a glorious revolutionary tradition and is an old revolutionary base.
The monument to the revolutionary martyrs and the battle monument have become the patriotic education base for middle school students. In 2018, Naliang village namengpo and Zhenlong community nadianpo were included in the third batch of Guangxi traditional villages list. Leiboling cliff inscriptions are listed as cultural relics protection units in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In December 2018, namengpo village was listed in the fifth batch of Chinese traditional villages list. Since 2018, the lunar February 16 is the "Nalou fupao Festival and the anniversary of the opening of polder". The famous specialties of Nalou town include Nalou Huaishan and zhenlongtang horned fish. Nalou pressed flour, sesame cake, raw fish, Ma Tuan, sour plum white cut Mahua duck, fried raw rice dumplings and so on are local specialties. In addition, it is also an important agricultural fair in Yongning County, one of the four fairs in Yongning County, and the market trade is prosperous.

Qing Dynasty
In the ninth year of Kangxi (1670) of the Qing Dynasty, following the Ming system, most of the area of Nalou was under the jurisdiction of Lingshan County. The total number of households in the county was 22 Li, and lingyifang had 16 capitals. In the reign of Qianlong, the number of households was still 22 Li, which was divided into 15 townships, 17 townships, 22 capitals, and 339 villages. In today's Nawu village of Nalou Town, the inspection department of Xixiang is set up. Xixiang leads the map of upper Ningdu, middle Ningdu and lower Ningdu, with 46 villages.
After Jiaqing, the division of public security areas was used, and the county was called Lian. Lingshan County has set up shangning training, Zhongning training, Xianing training and Xiaji training in Nalou Town, Xinjiang town and Baiji town. Among them, Xianing training group is located in nalouwei, which governs 81 villages.
The Republic of China
From the first year of the Republic of China to the 15th year of the Republic of China (1912-1926), the League training system was still used in Lingshan County, which was divided into 18 training centers. Today, Nalou town belongs to zhongninglian and xianinglian of Lingshan County, and the northeast part of the town belongs to Yongning County.
In 1927, it began to abolish the League training system and set up districts and townships. At that time, there were eight districts, but the districts were only divided into districts without administrative organs. The county has jurisdiction over 60 townships. Nalou town belongs to the seventh district, which governs six townships, namely Nalou, Baiji, Nalu, Guanghua, Xinjiang and Nali. The district office is located in nalouwei.
In 1935, Lingshan County abandoned the district and merged the township, and Baojia was established.
In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), Nalou town was set up, coexisting with Nalou township. The township governments were all set up in nalouwei.
On October 1, 1941, the new county system was implemented. Four districts were set up in the county, and some townships were adjusted and merged. After the adjustment, the four districts had jurisdiction over 60 townships (towns), 632 townships and 6382 townships. The Fourth District governs 7 townships, 65 townships and 656 townships: Junan Township, 7 townships, 64 townships; Nalou Township, 12 townships, 129 townships; Nafeng Township, 10 townships, 81 townships; Nalu Township, 7 townships, 74 townships; Xinjiang Township, 12 townships, 111 townships; Nali Township, 6 townships, 65 townships; Baiji Township, 11 townships, 132 townships. In 1947, the county was divided into 60 townships (towns), 620 Baojia and 6125 Baojia. Today, the central and southern part of the town belongs to Nalou Township, Nalou District, Lingshan County, Guanghua Township in the west, Nalu Township in the north, Jun'an Township in the southeast, and Zhennan Township in Bachi District, Yongning County, Guangxi Province in the northeast.
In July 1949, the Communist Party of China established a democratic government in the qinyongling border area of Guangdong and Guangxi. The people's Government of qinyongling border area of Guangdong and Guangxi was established in nalouwei, which governs seven townships including Nalou in Lingshan County, four townships including Pujin in Yongning County and Nanrong Township in Qinxian county.
The People's Republic of China
At the beginning of 1950, Yongning and Lingshan were liberated and the people's Government of Nalou district was established.
On January 10, 1950, the higher authorities temporarily assigned Lingshan County to the Lingxi special zone under the jurisdiction of Qin county (now Qinzhou), including Nalou Township, Nalu Township, Guanghua Township, Xinjiang Township, Nali Township, Baiji Township and Hualing Township, which were under the jurisdiction of Lingshan County. The name of the special zone was cancelled and changed to the seventh district of Lingshan County.
On June 2, 1951, the seventh district, Nalou, was zoned under the jurisdiction of Yongning County. In the same year, the administrative divisions of Yongning County were adjusted as follows: the first district was in Pumiao, the Second District in Sitang, the third district in Batang, the Fourth District in Lingli, the Fifth District in Liuwei, the Sixth District in Nalou, the seventh district in Xinjiang, the eighth District in Baiji, the ninth district in nachen, the Tenth District in Suwei, the eleventh District in Nama, the twelfth District in Wuwei, the thirteenth District in Laokou, the fourteenth District in Xinwei, the fifteenth District in Tanluo, and the sixteenth district The district is in Nalong.
In February 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and six offices, namely Wutang, Nalou, Laokou, Wuwei, Nanyang and Lingli, were established. In the same month, it was changed to five offices, namely Pumiao, Nalou, Wutang, Wuwei and Laokou, and 244 small townships in the county were merged into 59 large townships. In May of the same year, the townships and senior communities under the jurisdiction of Nalou office were as follows (hereinafter referred to as "communities"): Nalou (14 communities), Hanlin (10 communities), Nanyang (22 communities), Liuwei (12 communities), Zhongshan (22 communities), Hongxing (13 communities), Zhonghe (12 communities), Helang (10 communities), Baiji (10 communities), Fangcun (11 communities), Zhenlong (16 communities), tunlin (8 communities), Nahe (6 communities). In August of the same year, the people's commune was realized, the office was canceled and the people's commune of Nalou was established. In September, it was changed into Yuejin people's commune, which governs the original Nalou Township and Zhenlong township. Later, it was renamed as Nalou people's commune, and its jurisdiction remained unchanged.
In the summer of 1962, the scale of the people's commune was adjusted. The original Nalou commune was divided into 17 small communes, and the adjusted commune was equivalent to the scale of the original high-level commune (i.e. production brigade).

In 1969, the people's communes under the jurisdiction of the counties were transformed into production brigades. Nalou commune has 17 production teams, including Nalou, Tunliu, Tandun, Tandong, Zhongshan, Nama, Nawang, Natou, Napen, Nawen, Helang, Nawu, Huajia, tunliang, Tangli, Nafeng and Naliang.
In October 1980, a total of 22 brigades were set up in Nalou commune. Among them, Tandun set up Nali brigade; Huajia set up Nata brigade; Zhongshan set up tunliao brigade; Tangli set up Zhenlong brigade; Tandun set up nadupo and Nawang set up gaoxiangpo to set up Sanjiang brigade.
On December 27, 1982, according to the results of the census of geographical names, the name of the duplicate name brigade was changed, and the Nama brigade was renamed the Roman brigade.
In 1984, Nalou township was restored. In 1987, six administrative villages, Zhenlong, tunliang, Natha, Tangli, Nafeng and Naliang, were set up in Nalou township. In March 1994, the building was removed from the township and built into a town.
On March 18, 2005, Nalou town was designated as Yongning District of Nanning City, with jurisdiction over one community neighborhood committee and 15 village committees. On June 15 of the same year, the construction of Zhenlong township was cancelled and incorporated into Nalou town as a whole.

Nalou town is located in the southeast of Yongning District of Nanning City, 45 kilometers away from Nanning city and 24 kilometers away from the seat of the city government. It is adjacent to Liuwei town of Qingxiu district and Zhonghe township of Yongning District in the East, Taiping town of Lingshan County of Qinzhou City in the south, Xinjiang town and Baiji town of Yongning District in the west, and Pumiao town of Yongning District in the north. Nalou town has a low sea level and a small undulation of the ground, with an altitude of 80-256 meters. Most of the area is hilly. Among them, the central and northern parts are low hilly areas, with an altitude of 100-200 meters; the villages of Tangli, nata and Huajia in the southwest and southeast are high hilly areas with the remaining veins of 100000 mountains, with an altitude of more than 120 meters. The highest peak in the whole territory is maomaoling, with an altitude of 256 meters. It belongs to the structure erosion and denudation low mountain and hilly terrain, the top of the mountain is mostly round, the valley is narrow, and the gully is developed. The area belongs to weak earthquake environment, the level of seismicity is not high, the activity of faults in the town is weak, and the regional tectonic stability is good.
