Donglong town
Donglong town is located in the middle of Huilai County, Jieyang City, covering an area of 54 square kilometers. Town government in Donglong village, 3 kilometers away from the county. The town is a coastal plain and hilly terrain, with mountains on its back and sea on its face. The north part of the town is adjacent to Huicheng Town, with kuiling mountain system (belonging to Danan mountain system), 6 km away from Donglong village, east-west trend, including Renzi mountain and shuangguonian mountain, covering an area of 12 square kilometers. In the west, it borders on Longjiang Town, with Jilong mountain system and the former Longjiang river.
Donglong town has a subtropical monsoon climate with high temperature and rainy weather. The annual average temperature is 21.8 ℃ and rainfall is abundant. The annual average rainfall is 1829 mm. However, the annual variation is large and the spatial and temporal distribution is uneven. It is easy to produce spring drought, summer waterlogging and many typhoons in summer and autumn.
Historical evolution
In 1987, the population was 53200. The mountainous area is 25000 mu, planting all kinds of fruit trees is 14600 mu, which has been developed into breeding pool. The cultivated land is 29600 mu, mostly plain paddy field, mainly rice and potato. More than 2000 mu of beach land has been used for aquaculture. The salt field is about 4000 mu, with an annual output of about 500 tons of raw salt. It has built 3 ponds and reservoirs, 15 kilometers of coastal dampproof dykes, 9 water pumping stations, 2 drainage gates and 52 kilometers of main canals. It is a major grain producing and High-yielding area in the county. There are 6 offices in the town.
In 1987, the total output value of industry and agriculture was 22.1 million yuan, including 18.94 million yuan of agricultural output value. There are 1 junior middle school, 12 primary schools, 1 health center and 1 cinema. Kuihe highway runs across the town from east to west.
Evolution of organizational system
In the early days of liberation, there were seven administrative villages in Donglong Town, among which Donglong, Jilong, Dashan (dashanwei, Beishan, miaohai) and Huashi (Shizhou, Huawu, Guxiang) belonged to Huicheng District, lezhou (Chizhou, Huafang) and Sifeng belonged to Shenquan District, Diaoshi belonged to Longjiang district. In 1953, the town was divided into seven townships, including Donglong, Jilong, Dashan, Huashi, Chizhou (renamed as lezhou), Sifeng Township, and Diaoshi township.
In 1958, the township system was abolished, and seven townships were merged into Hongqi people's commune (i.e. today's Huicheng town and Shenquan town). In December of the same year, Huilai County system was abolished, and Hongqi people's commune was merged into Puning county.
In 1961, Huilai County was restored. The original seven townships were merged into Donglong commune, and the commune management committee was stationed in Donglong village. In 1983, the commune system was abolished and Donglong commune was changed into Donglong district.
In November 1986, Donglong town was renamed as Donglong town. It has 12 administrative villages, 31 natural villages and 1 neighborhood committee. They are Donglong village, Jilong village, Chizhou village, Huafang Village (Huafang, huangcuodun, Tianzhong, Gangtou, Houdai), Sifeng Village (houhori, houwu, Hougong, Wushi), Diaoshi village, Guxiang Village (Guxiang, Pumei, Guilin), Huawu village, Shizhou Village (Shiyi, Shier, Xilong, Paishang, paixia), Beishan village, miaohai Village (miaohai, Tonglu, huazhai, Yiyi) Dapu, Chiling), dasanwei Village (under the jurisdiction of dasanwei, hutouzha, Chetan), Kuizhong neighborhood committee. Administrative villages establish villagers' committees.
In 1989, the administrative village was renamed the management area, and the management area office was set up. In February 1999, the administrative region was abolished, the organization of village committees was improved, and villagers' autonomy was implemented.
By the end of 2004, there were 15428 households with a total population of 84286, including 82039 agricultural population and 2247 non-agricultural population. The total cultivated land area of the town is 25300 mu, including 19812 mu of paddy field, 5488 mu of dry garden, 20824 mu of mountainous area, 500 mu of tidal flat and 120 mu of salt field. The total industrial and agricultural output value of the town is 225.3666 million yuan, including 96.7366 million yuan of agricultural output value and 128.63 million yuan of industrial output value.

Jilong Village
Jilong village is an old revolutionary base village, located in the north of Donglong Town, backed by kuiling mountains, adjacent to Huilai County. Shenzhen Shantou expressway, Kuihe highway, the first South Ring Road of the county and the second South Ring Road of the planning run through the East and west of the village, so the traffic is very convenient. There are 2824 households with 14533 members and 295 party members in the village. The area is 10.3 square kilometers, with 2720 mu of cultivated land, including 2100 mu of paddy field, 620 mu of dry garden, 7500 mu of mountainous area, including 1530 mu of fruit land. In 2009, the village collective economic income was 780000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3980 yuan. The village has established a nine-year consistent school, which is divided into secondary school and primary school campuses. There are 2560 students and 144 teachers in the school, and there is a nursing home for the elderly, which supports 19 households with five guarantees. Huicheng 110kV substation is built in the area, which is the power supply control center of the whole county; Huilai feie Industrial Park is built, covering an area of 98 mu, with a plant area of more than 30000 square meters; Shenzhen Shantou expressway service area and supporting facilities are built, and the newly planned County eco industrial Park is located at the junction of the village and Huicheng. The village stilt tiger and lion was listed in the provincial intangible cultural heritage in 2009.
Donglong Village
Donglong village is an old revolutionary base village. It is the residence of Donglong town government and adjacent to the county. There are 2787 households, 17107 people and 302 party members in the village. The region covers an area of 6.59 square kilometers, with 4735 mu of cultivated land, including 4609 mu of paddy field, 126 mu of dry land, 4164 mu of mountainous area, including 2800 mu of fruit land. The main income depends on agricultural production, breeding and labor export. In 2009, the village collective economic income was about 850000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4287 yuan. There are junior middle school, Donglong middle school, with 2112 students and 124 teachers; Donglong Central Primary School, with 2618 students and 125 teachers; Donglong Ciyun school is under construction, which is designed and constructed according to the national model ordinary high school standards. The school covers an area of 165 mu, with a building area of 45000 square meters, with a total planned investment of more than 70 million yuan. The first phase of the construction project has been completed, and the investment has been increased More than 60 million yuan. There is a nursing home for the elderly, with 25 people providing for the five guarantees for the orphans and widows. Guangdong dinong Liquor Co., Ltd., a state-level high-tech enterprise and a provincial leading agricultural enterprise, was established. Its Guozhen brand litchi wine has won gold and silver awards in international and national cocktail parties for many times. The first and second South Ring Road and the first industrial road of the county run through the East and west of the village. Qingping road runs through the north and south of the village, and is connected with the extension road of Huicheng entrance and exit of Shenzhen Shantou expressway, Kuihe highway and Jieshen highway.
Huafang Village
Huafang village is a pure rural and poverty-stricken village. There are 1032 households with 6117 people, 98 party members and 592 students in one primary school. The village area is 2.25 square kilometers, with a total cultivated area of 1456 mu, including 1456 mu of paddy field and 580 mu of aquaculture. The main purpose of the village is to grow grain, vegetables and aquaculture. Some villagers increase their income by working outside. In 2009, the village collective economic income was 40000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3755 yuan. There is a Huagu temple in the village, which is listed as a cultural relic protection unit by the county. It is said that it is Shuigui cave. According to folklore, Yangwen Guangping South Road in Song Dynasty passed by here, which made great contributions to driving away the bandits and set up this temple to commemorate.

Beishan village is a pure rural area, located in the northwest of the town, backed by kuiling mountain system. Shenzhen Shantou expressway, Kuihe highway and the second South Ring Road of the planning County cross the village. The village has 500 households with 2639 people, 55 party members and one primary school with 297 students. The village covers an area of 2.28 square kilometers, with a total cultivated area of 877 mu, including 756 mu of paddy field, 121 mu of dry garden, and 2000 mu of mountainous area, including 616 mu of fruit land. The per capita net income of farmers is 3580 yuan.
Sifeng Village
Sifeng village in Donglong town is located in the coastal area. It is an old revolutionary base village and a poor village. It is composed of four natural villages, houhori, houwu, Hougong and Wushi. The village has 2042 households with 12501 people, 270 party members and 1 primary school with 1605 students. The village covers an area of 6.88 square kilometers, with a total cultivated area of 3355 mu, including 2920 mu of paddy field, 435 mu of dry garden and 1100 mu of aquaculture. Most of the villagers increase their income by working outside. In 2009, the village collective economic income was 670000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3733 yuan.
Chizhou Village
Chizhou village is located in the southeast of Donglong Town, adjacent to Shenquan port in the south, and Jieshen highway passes through the village. The village has 966 households with 5489 people, 69 party members and one primary school with 600 students. The village covers an area of 1.42 square kilometers, with a total cultivated area of 1030 mu, including 950 mu of paddy field, 80 mu of dry garden and 450 mu of aquaculture. The village mainly grows grain, vegetables and aquaculture. Chizhou construction engineering team was established in 1985. It is the only village engineering team in the county. It is mainly distributed in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shaoguan and other places, engaged in construction projects. The construction industry is well-known both inside and outside the county. In 2009, the village collective economic income was 120000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3951 yuan.
Miaohai Village
Miaohai village is an old revolutionary base village, a pure rural village and a poverty-stricken village.
