Shuangjiao town

Shuangjiao town is rich in products, rich in Shajiang, known as "the first town of Shajiang in China". Located in the southwest of Yangchun City, Guangdong Province, the northeast, the East and the south are respectively connected with Shanping township (which has been incorporated into Sanjia town), Sanjia town and Bajia town. The West and the north are adjacent to Dapo and Magui towns of Gaozhou City. Shuangjiao town is located in the southwest of Yangchun City, Guangdong Province. It is adjacent to Sanjia town in the East, Bajia town in the south, Dapo town in Gaozhou City in the West and Magui town in Gaozhou City in the north. The total area of Shuangjiao town is 279.7 square kilometers. It governs 23 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee with a total population of 78000. Shuangjiao town has many mountains and hills, rich in water resources. The terrain is like a snail. The terrain inclines from northwest to Southeast. It is surrounded by mountains in the West. The Yunwu Mountains extend from the north of the town along the East and west sides to the south. Jilongding (a unique natural landscape) is the highest mountain in the territory, and Bajia mountain, starting from wangmulou, is on the south side.

In 2017, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the town was 1.232 billion yuan. Shuangjiao is an ecological development town. It is a hilly and mountainous area with abundant natural resources. Among them, jilongding alpine grassland is known as the most potential tourism resource. The area of cultivated land is 35000 mu, including 24800 mu of paddy field and 10200 mu of dry land; the area of forest land is 250000 mu, of which 72700 Mu is suitable for planting all kinds of fruits. It mainly grows rice, Shajiang, citrus and Acacia mangium.

After investigation, it is found that in Wuyi village, Huangzhu village, Luomai village and Puzhu village, there are quartz mines with extremely high silicon content and large reserves. Puzhu quartz mine with a reserve of 20 million tons has been developed and utilized, and dryland mine with a reserve of more than 45 million tons of ceramic clay ore has been put into operation.

Taking advantage of abundant hydraulic resources, 37 small hydropower stations with a total installed capacity of 13455kw have been built to provide sufficient electric energy for the industrial development of the town.

Traffic construction

Provincial Highway s371 runs through the town, and village roads of Dachen, Dong'an, Jingdong, Wuyi, Dongping, poliu and other villagers' committees are opened in the area, so the traffic is more convenient.

Key construction projects of Shuangjiao Town:

*S371 transit highway: Provincial Highway s371 is a cross city provincial highway from Shuangjiao town to Magui town of Gaozhou City. With the increase of traffic flow, it often causes traffic jam in shuangjiaowei Town, which seriously affects the smooth flow of s371 provincial highway. According to the determination of higher authorities, this transit highway is about 2.6km long, starting from datiantou village to fengshouping village, and connecting with the original provincial highway. The designed subgrade is 15km The road surface is constructed according to 7.2m of the original road surface. After the completion of the construction of the transit road, the traffic conditions leading to Gaozhou Xinyi will be greatly improved, which will play a positive role in promoting the development of jilongding eco-tourism.

Urban construction

Shuangjiao polder, 44 kilometers south by west of the county town, is located on the beach of Shuangping River and Shuangjiao River, which are formed by the accretion of a peninsula, so it is called "Shuangjiao". During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, polder was gradually formed here. In 1897 (the 23rd year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu), Shuangjiao Fort wall was built. After 1950, the walls were demolished to expand the polder. Three bridges are built to connect Huanglan mountain, Hutou mountain and bengshan mountain. Xiang is the traffic center of the town and the mass trading place near Gaozhou, Xinyi and Yangchun, and the residence of the town government. It covers an area of 1 square kilometer and has a neighborhood committee.

The town speeds up the urbanization construction and strives to build dandonglang new area. The planned land acquisition is 160 mu, and the land acquisition is 120 mu. Guangzhou Design Institute is requested to plan the reconstruction of 2.5 square kilometers of old and new urban areas.

There are 298 natural villages in the town, and 79 kilometers of "village to village" and 12 kilometers of "village to village" have been completed. 142 rural garbage pools and 1 garbage transfer station have been built in the town.

In 2012, the town's educational resources were effectively integrated, and the school transformation was fully completed. In October 2012, the town was successfully established as one of the first batch of "strong education towns in Guangdong Province" in Yangjiang City. Qixing village committee in the town has a famous hill named jilongding. The main peak is 1280.5 meters above sea level and is located at the junction of Yangchun, Gaozhou and Xinyi. The most eye-catching scenic spots are the lifelike sleeping beauty, the Yin Yang stone, and the twelve Leng mountain, which is composed of twelve daoshan mountains and combs. There are 27000 live pigs and 17000 cattle. The town is rich in mountains and water. Based on the mountainous areas, it guides the masses to adjust the agricultural structure. 1. Alpinia officinalis

This town is one of the famous producing areas and distributing places of Shajiang in Guangdong Province. The Shajiang produced in this town has the characteristics of thin skin, rich powder and strong fragrance. It is the top grade of ginger. It is about 20% more expensive than other places. The planting area is over 6000 mu. It is mainly concentrated in the village committees of Huangjiang, Huangsha, Dachen and Puzhu. The single income is more than 10 million yuan and the per capita income is more than 200 yuan. The economic benefit is good. In addition, the town's Shajiang rough processing technology is excellent. The ginger peddlers collect ginger from all over the country for processing. Taking Huangjiang as a point, they sell it to Guangxi, Sichuan, Harbin and other provinces and cities, and gradually become the main sales market of Shajiang in Guangdong Province.

2. Pineapple tree

Pineapple, commonly known as jackfruit, is four meters tall and its leaves are thick and thick. Every year July and August is a harvest period. The fruit is rich in nutrients and contains much sugar.
