Zhonghang town is subordinate to Pingyuan County, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. It is located in the west of the county, 14 km away from the county. National Highway 206 runs through it. History of construction
Zhonghang, formerly known as "zhongkeng", is named because the north and South are hills and the river flows through the valley between the mountains (commonly known as Keng). The town got its name from its location. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties and before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Hetou township. In the Qing Dynasty, it had a market. In 1949, it belonged to Heba district. In 1958, it belonged to Bachi commune. In 1961, it was merged into Hetou commune. In 1963, it was merged into Hetou commune. In 1974, it was reestablished. In 1984, it was changed into a district. In 1987, it was established as a township. Since 1994, it has been established. Liangshe Village
Liangshe village belongs to Zhonghang town. It's five kilometers southeast of zhongxingwei. It is adjacent to Hetou Shuangxi village in the East, dagongao town in the south, Zhongshi village in the West and kuaihu village in the north. It covers an area of about 10.5 square kilometers, 846 mu of arable land and 12630 mu of mountainous area. There are 322 households with a total of 1246 people. Liangshe village includes another five natural villages. It has nine villager groups: huangnipai, xiajie, Shangjie, zhangpaishang, liangsheao, Chuanxing, wuliangshe, xinchating and tianluoniu. It covers an area of 8.56 square kilometers, 965 mu of cultivated land and 10515 mu of mountainous area. Guankeng Village
