Tianjiayao Town, belonging to Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Chicheng County, adjacent to diao'e town in the East, haidatuo Township in the south, Xuanhua District in the west, Longguan town in the north, 45 kilometers away from the people's Government of Chicheng County, with a total area of 187.97 square kilometers.

In 1958, pangjiabao District of Zhangjiakou City was transferred to Longguan county and tianjiayao commune was established; in 1995, tianjiayao township was changed to tianjiayao town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Tian Jia Yao town was 19770. As of June 2020, tianjiayao town has 24 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in tianjiayao village.

In 2018, there were 33 industrial enterprises in tianjiayao Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 14 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1958, pangjiabao District of Zhangjiakou City was transferred to Longguan county and tianjiayao commune was established.

In 1960, it was transferred to Xuanhua city.

In 1961, it was assigned to Chicheng County.

In 1984, tianjiayao commune was changed to tianjiabao township.

In 1995, it was changed from tianjiayao township to tianjiayao town.

In 1996, caizhuangzi township was merged into tianjiayao town.
