History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, beixinbao town belonged to the first district of Huailai County.
In July 1953, beixinbao township was established.
In August 1958, it belonged to Dongfeng (Langshan) commune.
In June 1961, it was separated from Dongfeng (Langshan) commune and established beixinbao commune.
In May 1984, beixinbao commune was changed into beixinbao township.
In May 2001, beixinbao township was changed into beixinbao town.
