Changning Township
Changning Township, belonging to Yu County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of the northeast of Yu County, adjacent to Taohua town in the East, at the foot of Xiaowutai Mountain in the southeast, Baile town and jijiazhuang town in the west, and Taohua town in the northwest, North and northeast. It is 37.1km away from Yu County People's government, with a total area of 58.81km2.
In 1945, Changning Township belonged to eight districts of Yu County; in 1984, it was changed from Changning commune to Changning township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Changning township was 10066. As of June 2020, 14 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Changning rural area, and the Township People's government is stationed in Sijie village.
In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise and three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Changning township.

In 1945, it belonged to eight districts of Yuxian County.
