Daiwang Town, belonging to Yu County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Yu County. It borders on South Yangzhuang Township in the East, Songjiazhuang Township in the south, Weizhou Township in the southwest, yongquanzhuang Township in the west, yangzhuangke Township across Huliu River in the north and xihezhe town in the northeast. In the Shang and Zhou dynasties, daiwangcheng was the capital of the ancient state; in 1984, daiwangcheng commune was changed into daiwangcheng.
