Evolution of administrative districts

During the period of the Republic of China, it was called Qingping Township, belonging to Guiyang County. In 1950, it was established in Leiping township. In 1958, it was incorporated into Yangshi people's commune. In 1961, Leiping people's commune was established in Yangshi people's commune.
