Chonglingjiang town
In 2012, Hunan provincial administrative division adjustment notice (No. 3), the township administrative division of Guiyang County was adjusted as follows: Feixian town, Yutian Town, Shizi town and Gulou town were merged to establish chonglingjiang town. With the former Feixian town, Yutian Township, Shizi Township and Gulou township as the new administrative region, chonglingjiang town governs 62 villages and 4 neighborhood committees, with a total area of 258.09 square kilometers and a total population of 43379 (in 2017). The town people's government is stationed in feixianqiao (the former Feixian town people's Government).

Name and origin
It gets its name because the Chongling river runs through the territory.
Evolution of administrative districts
In the sixth year of Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1527), there were 47 Li townships in Guiyang. Feixian was named xingyili. In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), there were 12 regiments in Guiyang. Xingyili (Feixian) was named Sanzheng regiment. In the 37th year of the Republic of China (1948), Feixian (Sanzheng regiment) was changed to Sanzheng township. After liberation, the people's office was established in 1949. In 1950, Feixian Township belongs to the Fourth District of Guiyang. In the 19th year of the Republic of China, it belonged to daqiannan regiment, the Second District of Guiyang County. In July 1958, it was changed into Feixian commune, in June 1971, it was renamed Feixian Township, and in August 1995, it was withdrawn from township to town. In March 2012, the three townships of Yutian, Shizi and Gulou were merged with Feixian town to establish chonglingjiang town.

It is located in the northwest of Guiyang County, bordering haotang town in the East, Shiqiao township of Jiahe County in the south, Xintian County of Yongzhou City in the West and Liufeng town in the north. Chonglingjiang town is mostly hilly, with high terrain in the East, West and North and low terrain in the south. The highest point is located in the southwest of toad ridge, with an altitude of 396 meters. The lowest point is in the east of Yankou village, Yankou formation, with an altitude of 138 meters.

hydrology
Chongling river flows from west to East through Huangtu village, longquanwan formation, Baijia village, Jiuqi village, Liping village, Jiangli village, Xiaotian village, Matou village, xiachong village and Zhongjia village, with a total length of 13 km.
natural disaster
There are mainly drought, flood and low temperature. From July to August 1938, there was a severe drought and plague in the town, and one person died. From December 2007 to February 2008, the freezing disaster caused economic losses of 300 million yuan. In 2011, there was a rare drought in a century.
