Liangshuikou town
In 2013, the Party committee and government of Sangzhi County identified Liangshuikou town as one of the first batch of nine characteristic towns in the county.
By the end of 2014, the management of Liangshuikou town will basically achieve the goal of "supporting facilities, standardized management, good order and beautiful environment". After three to five years of efforts, Liangshuikou will be built into a beautiful Liangshuikou town with "green mountains, clear water, blue sky and clean ground, livable, commercial and tourist".
Name and origin
The northern source of Lishui river lies in the section from yulanxi to Liangshuikou. The river cuts through the mountains to form a gorge and joins Luoyu River into the northern source of Lishui river. According to Chayin, the water temperature at the gorge is low all the year round, so it is called Liangshuikou.
geographical position
It is located between 110 ° 10 ′ 24 "e to 110 ° 13 ′ 90" E and 29 ° 54 ′ 73 "n to 29 ° 59 ′ 90" n. Liangshuikou town is located in the middle of Sangzhi County, bordering qiaoziwan Township in the East, Lianghekou Township in the south, Chenjiahe town and shataping Township in the west, and guluoshan Township in the north. Nanmugang neighborhood committee is set up by the people's Government of the town, which is 33 kilometers away from the county and 104 kilometers away from the urban area.
Historical evolution
In the seventh year of Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty, Sangzhi County was changed into Anfu county. In the thirteenth year of Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1735), Sangzhi County was changed into Sangzhi County, and then the township administrative region was established. It had jurisdiction over eight townships and one town. After the implementation of the township Baojia system, Liangshuikou town belongs to the third Baoji of Changrui County, with zhangjiata village in Liangshuikou as Baoji chief to Qinghai. In the first three years after liberation, under the leadership of the 423 regiment of the 141 division of the people's Liberation Army, the suppression of bandits was completed. At that time, it was subordinate to Changrui township. In 1952, it was established by the village planning Township, which was called Liangshuikou Township People's Government. The office of the government was set up in nanmugang (now nanmugang neighborhood committee). In 1958, it became Taiyangsheng commune and brought guluoshan Township under its jurisdiction; in September 1961, guluoshan township was designated and renamed Liangshuikou commune; in October 1984, it was renamed Liangshuikou town. in 1995, big towns were implemented, and guluoshan Township and qiaoziwan Township were incorporated into the jurisdiction of Liangshuikou; in October 1998, the zoning was adjusted again, guluoshan and qiaoziwan Township were set up separately, and Liangshuikou town has been established according to the original zoning.

Lishui River enters from the north of renshiping village, from north to south, with a catchment area of 877 square kilometers, a main stream of 57.5 kilometers long and 325 kilometers away from the estuary. mineral and other natural resources forestry, mineral and water resources are the dominant natural resources of the town. It has 3663 hectares of forest land, with a forest coverage rate of 64.6%. The territory is rich in coal, river sand, iron ore, silicon and other mineral resources, especially coal and silicon ore with high quality. It is rich in water resources and is the source of drinking water for the surrounding villages and towns, so it is suitable to develop small hydropower stations.
Agriculture
The area of cultivated land is 7799 mu, including 5339 mu of paddy field and 2460 mu of dry land. In 2012, the corn planting area of the town was 5513.35 mu, and the rice planting area was 4657.38 mu, which increased compared with previous years. At the beginning of the year, 967 mu of newly planted Camellia oleifera and 1767 mu of tending and replanting of Camellia oleifera were completed. The new planting task of 300 mu Camellia oleifera in 2013 has also been put in place, and the gradual promotion and implementation of the Camellia oleifera project will provide sustainable power for the economic development of Liangshuikou town. A total of 420 mu of vegetables are planted in the town, including 200 mu of greenhouse vegetables. The construction of 60 high standard vegetable greenhouses in zhangjiata village is also under implementation. The implementation of this project will provide strong support for the "vegetable basket" project in Liangshuikou town.
Educational culture
Liangshuikou town has 4 kindergartens with 437 children and 22 full-time teachers. There are 3 primary and secondary schools (2 Village Primary Schools) in the town, with 84 teaching staff, including 79 full-time teachers and 1333 primary and secondary school students. The enrollment rate of students in the compulsory education stage is 100%, and the enrollment rate of junior high school is 99%. The quality of education and teaching has been fully affirmed by relevant departments. There are 17 village level cultural activity centers, 17 rural libraries and more than one book collection.
Transportation
The North source of Lishui river flows through here, and Sanghe highway passes through the territory, with convenient transportation. Liangshuikou passenger station was built in September 2010, with an area of 8 mu, infrastructure of 2900 square meters, building area of 786 square meters and investment of 1.1 million yuan. the new passenger bus station has all kinds of offices, duty rooms and waiting rooms, which greatly improves the rural passenger transport conditions, facilitates the masses and standardizes the passenger transport order.
