Wangjiaping Town, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province. Wangjiaping town is located in the southeast of Yongding District of Zhangjiajie City, adjacent to niuchehe township of Taoyuan County in the East, qijiaping town of Yuanling County in the south, yuanguping town of the district in the west, Dongxi township of Cili County of Zhangjiajie City in the north, and 64 km away from the urban area. It is a typical remote mountain town.

It has 17 administrative villages, 2 neighborhood committees, 185 Village (neighborhood) groups, 14632 people (in 2017), covering an area of 168.53 square kilometers (in 2017), with a total cultivated area of 40617 mu, including 23886 mu of cultivated land and 16731 mu of paddy field. Wangjiaping town was selected into the list of demonstration construction of strong agricultural towns in 2018.
