Ertai town
Ertai Town, belonging to Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Zhangbei County, bordering dahulun town in the East, haojiaying Township and baimiaotan Township in the south, erquanjing Township in the west, huanggainao and zhangfeinao as the boundary, and Chabei administrative area in the north. It is 31.5km away from Zhangbei County People's government, with a total area of 316.82km2.
In 1934, it belonged to three districts of Zhangbei County, namely Yanhou ertai Township, liuhaowan Township and xisili township. In August 1989, it was changed from ertai township to ertai town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in two towns was 26212. As of June 2020, ertai town has 29 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of ertai town is located at No.1 government road.
In 2018, there were 2 industrial enterprises in ertai Town, including 2 large-scale enterprises and 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1934, it belonged to three districts of Zhangbei County, namely Yanhou ertai Township, liuhaowan Township and xisili township. After liberation in August 1945, it belonged to ertai District of Zhangbei County. In December 1948, it belonged to eight districts.
In 1953, it belonged to seven townships of Liuwang, kujintu, Yong'an, liuhaowan, boluosumiao, gulibannao and Sanhe in eight districts.
In September 1956, the township was merged and removed from the District, and changed to Yongan Township, Xinghe Township and Sanhe township.
In June 1958, it was renamed ertai township; in August of the same year, Dongsheng commune was established; in October of the same year, it was renamed ertai commune.
In 1961, Chabei ranch and boluosumiao commune were set aside, still known as ertai commune.
In 1968, ertai commune was renamed Hongwei commune.
In 1972, Hongwei commune was renamed ertai commune.
In 1984, ertai commune was changed into ertai Township, and boluosu commune was changed into boluosu township.
In August 1989, it was changed from ertai township to ertai town.
In 1996, boluosu township was merged into ertai town.
