Baiqi Township, belonging to Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Chongli District, facing Chicheng County across the ancient Great Wall in the East, Xiwanzi town in the south, hongqiying Township and shiyaozi Township in the west, Shizigou Township and qingsanying Township in the north, with a total area of 156.28 square kilometers.
In 1949, Baiqi Township belonged to the first district of Chongli County; in 1984, it was changed from Baiqi commune to Baiqi township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Bai Qi township was 8245. As of June 2020, there are 17 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Baiqi rural area, and the Township People's government is located in Baiqi village.
In Baiqi Township, naked oats, potatoes and broad beans are the main food crops; pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry are the main animal husbandry; iron ore is the main industry.
History of construction
In 1949, Baiqi Township belonged to the first district of Chongli county.
In 1958, it belonged to Shizigou commune.
In June 1961, it separated from Shizigou commune and established Baiqi commune.
In 1968, Baiqi commune was changed into Dongfanghong commune.
In 1978, Dongfanghong commune was renamed Baiqi commune.
In 1984, it was changed from Baiqi commune to Baiqi township.

By the end of 2011, Baiqi rural area had 17 administrative villages including Wopu, xiawopu, ganyugou, Baiqi, wafanggou, Nanyao, guojiayao, nanshanyao, mentouying, menerying, mensanying, Xilin, qinghugou, Sidonggou, Majiayao, dongtouying and dongsiying, and 17 villager groups.
