Yintian town
Yintian Town, subordinate to Shaoshan City, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, is located in the southeast of Shaoshan City, known as the east gate of Shaoshan City. It is adjacent to nanzhushan township of Xiangtan County in the East, Datian township of Xiangxiang City in the south, Yongyi township of Shaoshan City in the West and datunying township of Ningxiang County in the north, with an administrative area of 28 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the lower seven capitals of Xiangtan County; in November 2001, it merged with Yintian Township and established a new Yintian town. By the end of 2018, the population of Yin Tian town registered residence was 14701. As of June 2020, Yintian town has jurisdiction over one community and four administrative villages, and its people's government is located at No. 29, Yinhe road.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Yintian town was 19.36 million yuan, an increase of 20% over the previous year, of which the general budget revenue was 18 million yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year. History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it was the seventh capital of Xiangtan County.
In the early years of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Second District of Xixiang, Xiangtan County.
In December 1932, it belonged to the Ninth District of Xiangtan County.
In 1947, it belonged to Qingtian township of Xiangtan County.
In January 1950, it belonged to the third district of Xiangtan County.
In 1951, it was changed into the fourth district.
In 1953, Yintian town was established under the jurisdiction of Yintian district.
In 1956, Yintian town was merged into yongyiting township.
In 1958, it was incorporated into Shaoshan people's commune.
In 1961, Shaoshan people's commune was divided into five communes: Shaoshan, Yongyi, Ruyi, Yintian and Yanglin. Yintian town is subordinate to Yintian commune.
In January 1972, Yintian town was restored and still directly under the leadership of Yintian people's commune.
In October 1974, Yintian town of Shaoshan district was established under the jurisdiction of the district.
In November 2001, it merged with Yintian Township and established a new Yintian town.

As of June 2020, Yintian town has jurisdiction over one community and four administrative villages: YINTIANSI community, South Village, Yintian village, South China village and Yinyuan village. The town people's government is located at No. 29, Yinhe road.

Yintian town is located in the southeast of Shaoshan City, known as the east gate of Shaoshan City. Yintian town is a hilly area in Hunan Province. In the north, South and southwest of the town, the terrain is slightly higher, the elevation of hills is about 100 meters, and both sides of Shaohe River in the East and middle are flat and open. Longlongling, 158.2 meters above sea level, is the highest point in the town, while liumuzhou, 48 meters above sea level, is the lowest point in the town.

Yintian Town River belongs to Xiangjiang River Basin. Shao River (the upstream of Yunhu River, the first branch of Lianshui River) runs through the whole town, with a length of about 6 kilometers and a drainage area of about 26.7 square kilometers. The flood season is from April to June every year, during which boating is allowed; the rest is in dry season.

There are dissolution fissures and caves in the strata of YINTIANSI fault zone, and abundant calcium carbonate karst water is stored, forming a north-south underground Yinhe river.
