Hanpu Street

Hanpu street, under the jurisdiction of Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, is located in the southwest of Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. Except Ganzi village is adjacent to Daolin town of Ningxiang city and Heling town of Yuhu District of Xiangtan City, other districts are connected with Shixue street, Yanghu street, Pingtang street and Lianhua town.

With a street area of 51.17 square kilometers, it governs four administrative villages and one community, including 190 villager groups and 31 resident groups, with a population of 24900. There are 18600 mu of paddy field, 32000 mu of forest land, 20 km of dike, 7 embankments and 2 reservoirs.

The origin of the name

Hanpu street was formerly known as Jiujiang township. In 1951, the township government of Jiujiang Township stationed in Jiujiang temple. Jiujiang temple is located on the North Bank of the middle reaches of Jinjiang River. It was built in the Ming Dynasty when Jiujiang people in Jiangxi Province produced lime here.

Evolution of organizational system

Hanpu street, formerly known as Hanpu Town, belonged to Jiujiang Township, Xueshi Township and Yanghu Township in 1951 and Pingtang people's commune in 1958. In 1962, Jiujiang commune and bachelor commune were established under Pingtang district. In 1984, Jiujiang commune and bachelor commune were renamed Jiujiang Township and bachelor Township respectively. In June 1995, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, Shixue township was merged into Jiujiang Township and directly under the jurisdiction of Wangcheng County Government. On February 5, 1998, Jiujiang township was renamed Hanpu town. In 2002, the town had jurisdiction over 23 villages and 1 community. In 2004, the village level zoning was adjusted, with 10 villages and 2 communities under its jurisdiction. On June 15, 2008, Hanpu town was established from Wangcheng County to Yuelu District.

On August 3, 2012, the town was officially removed and the street was renamed Hanpu street. With the former administrative area of Hanpu town as the jurisdiction area of Hanpu street, it has jurisdiction over 2 community neighborhood committees and 10 organic villages, with a total area of 91.8 square kilometers and a total population of 63100. The office is located in Hanpu (the former resident of Hanpu Town People's Government).

On January 18, 2013, Hanpu street was divided into two streets: Bachelor street and Hanpu street. Hanpu Street governs Hanpu community, Guanbukou village, Xintian village, Jiujiang village, Dapo village, zhizigang village and Ganzi village, which is the same as Jiujiang township of Wangcheng County before the district was withdrawn and merged.

In a new round of regional adjustment in 2016, the former Hanpu community and Guanbukou village were merged to form a new Hantai community, and the former Xintian village and Jiujiang village were merged to form a new Jiufeng village.

Hanpu Street governs four administrative villages and one community, including Hantai community, Jiufeng village, Dapo village, zhizigang village and Ganzi village.

Hantai community

Located in the central and southern part of Hanpu street, it is composed of two embankments with an area of more than 1000 mu. Puwang road and Hantai road cross the community. The connecting line of west exit of Changtan is connected with puwang Road, covering a total area of 15.27 square kilometers. It is a hilly area. It has a population of 7308 and 61 villager groups. There are Hanpu middle school, Hanpu primary school, Sanhe pipe pile, Xinxing superhard material group company, Xinqiang asphalt mixing plant and other enterprises and institutions. The community is surrounded by mountains, beautiful scenery, fertile land and rich in rice. Water conservancy is convenient and fishery resources are developed. Simple customs, regional superiority, convenient transportation, extending in all directions. Jinjiang River passes through the area under its jurisdiction, forming two embankments of more than 1000 mu, namely Wuxing embankment and Huatang embankment, with a total length of 5.6 km.

Ganzi Village

It is located at the south end of Hanpu street, south of Jinjiang River, bordering Jinjiang River and Xiaojing village in the East, Jinqiao village in Heling Town, Yuhu District, Xiangtan City in the north, Longquanhu village in Daolin Town, Ningxiang city in the west, and Jingxin village in Heling Town, Yuhu District, Xiangtan City in the south. The whole village has a strip-shaped terrain, high in the West and low in the East. It is 5km long from east to west and 2km long from north to south, covering an area of 8.2km. The village has a population of 2507, 23 villager groups and 725 households. The area of cultivated land is 2256.3 mu with 61 party members.

Zhizigang Village

After the zoning adjustment in 2004, our village was originally merged into zhizigang village from Xingfu village, Zhizi village and yunpan village. There are 50 villager groups, 1457 households, a population of 5050, 138 party members, including 114 male party members, 24 female party members and 4280 Mu paddy field. Two embankments, namely yunpanyuan, are 2500 meters long. There are nearly 800 Mu paddy fields in the embankments and two drought resistant machines. Xingfu embankment is 3680 meters long, with nearly 1400 mu of paddy fields and two 75 kW drainage and drought resistance machines. Water area of zhizigang Village: 2000 mu. Available development area: 1500 mu.

Dapo Village

It is located in the northwest of Hanpu street, bordering on Xueshi street. Changzhi Expressway passes through the village from west to East, and Zuoli line runs through the north and south. It has superior geographical location and convenient transportation. The existing village area is 12976.05 mu, including 535.42 mu of roads and 30 villager groups. By the end of 2012, the total number of households is 1107 and the total population is 3589. There are 74 party members in the village, 1 kindergarten, 1 primary school, 2 small type-2 reservoirs, and 2602 mu of farmland is irrigated. There are 4 large and small enterprises in the village, including puzhenglin asphalt mixing plant and Changsha overpass mechanical forging company, which have solved the employment problem of more than 200 people in the village.

Jiufeng Village

It is located in the middle and upper reaches of Jin River, reaching Jin River Basin in the south, adjacent to Jingxin village, Heling Town, Yuhu District, Xiangtan City in the West and Lianhua town in the north. The terrain of the village is high in the northeast and low in the southwest. It is a natural village with half hills and half lakes. It is a large embankment in Yuelu District. The village covers an area of 10.42 square kilometers, including 5000 mu of arable land. The village has a population of 6575, 1869 households, and is composed of 57 villager groups. The whole village mainly grows rice. Jiufeng village is the hometown of martyr Zhou Jian, the party representative of the third division of the Red Army. In 2016, Xintian Village (which was merged from Toyota village and Qujiang village into Xintian village in 2004) was merged with Jiujiang village.

Except Ganzi village, which is adjacent to Daolin town of Ningxiang city and Heling town of Yuhu District of Xiangtan City, Hanpu street is adjacent to Pingtang street and Yanghu street in the East, Lianhua town in the west, Xiangtan City in the South and Xueshi street in the north.

Hanpu Street Ganzi village is an enclave between Heling town in Yuhu District of Xiangtan City and Daolin town in Ningxiang City, covering an area of about 8 square kilometers. It is also called Jianzi village or Jianzi village. There are two small enclaves in this enclave.

Street Development

Hanpu street has convenient transportation, Zuoli line runs through the north and south, Lianping line runs across the East and West. The bachelor's connecting line connects Lianping, Zuoli, Pingjin highways with the ring expressway of Changsha City and the connecting lines of the second ring road and the Third Ring Road of Changsha City, forming a road traffic network extending in all directions. There are Jinjiang River, a tributary of the lower reaches of Xiangjiang River, and seven small and medium-sized reservoirs, such as Yuhua reservoir, with complete water conservancy facilities, unobstructed ditches and abundant water storage. The street is rich in mineral resources, with large reserves of granite, limestone, glass sand, silica sand and kaolin, high grade and easy to exploit. It has formed a pillar industry of chemical industry, building materials and construction represented by Changsha Huaxin alloy factory.

With the construction of Daolin ancient town in Ningxiang and the acceleration of the construction of Dahexi, the street Working Committee and office make full use of the location advantages of the street, vigorously attract investment, and the development of real estate projects such as yunqi Valley and Milan spring, Hanpu presents a thriving scene.
