Gaopeng Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dingzhou City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Dingzhou City, adjacent to Li Qingu town in the East, Xingyi town and Xizhong town in the south, Xinle town in the west, jingyaodian town and Zhoucun town across Shahe River in the north, with a total area of 56.15 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Gao Peng town registered residence was 48201.

In 1962, beigaopeng commune was established. In 1982, it was changed to Gaopeng township. In 1994, it merged with nanwangjiazhuang township to build Gaopeng town. As of June 2020, Gaopeng town has 16 village committees and the people's Government of Gaopeng town is located in beigaopeng village.

Dingzhou Yangko Opera

Dingzhou Yangko opera, also known as Dingxian big Yangko, Dingzhou Yangko opera music for the plate cavity.
