Yunchi Street

Yunchi street is under the jurisdiction of FeiTing District, Yichang City, Hubei Province. Its office is located in shibanchong neighborhood committee. Yunchi is named after Zhao Yun's story of digging a place to be the Savior of Chi and sharpening his sword in the battle of Wushu FeiTing in the Three Kingdoms period.

General situation

Yunchi sub district office is located in the southeast of juiting district. Until 1962, Yunchi as a place name was only limited to a natural village. In 1962, Yunchi commune was established. In 1982, it was under the jurisdiction of Zhijiang County, and then it was renamed as Yunchi management area. In 1984, a town was set up in Yiting, a township was set up under the Town, and Yunchi management area was renamed as Yunchi township. In January 1992, Yiting development zone was established. In June 1993, the Development Zone abolished the original township system and established three offices: gukubei, Yunchi and Huya.
