Xihong Township
Xihong township is located 10 kilometers north of Shangcai County, with an area of 56.04 square kilometers (2017), cultivated land area of 65000 mu, 19 administrative villages and a total population of 25539 (2017). In 2004, the total industrial and agricultural output value reached 148 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 2150 yuan.

Xihong is located in the Huang Huai plain, with fertile soil and rich agricultural and sideline products. It is a famous commodity grain production base. Historical evolution
Xihong town was established in 1932, a township was established in 1935, hugang commune was established in 1965, Xihong commune was relocated in 1966 and changed its name to Xihong commune, and the township was changed in 1983. In 1997, with an area of 60 square kilometers and a population of 50000, it has jurisdiction over 27 administrative villages, namely Xihong, Sima, guanwangzhuang, Xiaohe, Guandi temple, pozhao, Liuqiao, Caowang, kouzhuang, dongchenqiao, Shitang, Xiaozhuang, Dongzhang, xinchenzhuang, Zhuzhao, Songzhuang, Mali, pochang, Yaodian, Zhuji, nanwuzhuang, Xuzhuang, baigouwang, biandanwang, Nandong, Gucun and zuili.
