Tianmiao township is located in the north of Yucheng County, adjacent to the old Yellow River. It governs 13 administrative villages: tengwan, Guanzhuang, Gaozhuang, xintianmiao, Jinguo, Menglou, Yuxian, houliu, Shizhuang, Cuizhuang, liuyangzhuang, Yangyu and Yuanzhuang.

In 1997, with an area of 32 square kilometers and a population of 24000, it has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, namely Tianmiao, yuxianji, zhangmenglou, tengwan, houliuzhuang, houyuanzhuang, yangyuzhuang, Cuizhuang, jinguozhuang and liuyangzhuang.

Tianmiao township has convenient transportation and well-developed communication. Yudan (Shan county) Bozhou highway passes through the territory. It leads to Shandong in the north, connects with national highway 310 and Lianyungang huoergos Expressway in the south, and is 20 kilometers away from Longhai Railway and golden cross of Beijing Kowloon Railway. At present, 5000 optical cable program-controlled telephones have been opened, which can make domestic and international calls. Tianmiao township has fertile land and rich agricultural resources. It produces crisp pear, apple, peach, apricot, plum, sweet persimmon and other high-quality fruits. The township has been identified as the national high-quality pear production base by the Ministry of agriculture, and Yuguo Huamulan brand crisp pear has won the "99 Kunming World Expo Award".

Tianmiao township has beautiful natural scenery and profound cultural history. There are Shizhuang reservoir with water storage area of 18.8 square kilometers, pear garden with fragrant flowers and fruits, grand and verdant old dike and ancient village where Zilu lived in history. In spring, the sea of flowers is like a tide, in summer, fishing boats sing late, in autumn, snow dancing and silver snakes in winter. It is not only suitable for investment, but also for tourism.
