Bayu Township
Bayu Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Rongcheng County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is managed by xiong'an new district. It is located in the northeast of Rongcheng County, 5km away from the county. It borders on Liangmatai town in the East, Jiaguang Township in the northwest, Rongcheng town in the southwest, nanjuma River in the north and beinancai Township in Dingxing County, and Dahe Town in the southeast. The largest distance is 7.02 km, the largest 4.35 km from north and south, the total area is 29.2 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 22369 (2018).
Bayu, formerly known as Bawang, is the place of the eight kings of Song Dynasty. Due to the war, it was changed to be named Bayu. It is also the location of the "tombs of the eight kings of Song Dynasty". Bayu township was named after the township government's original residence in dabayu village. In 1953, it was built in Bayu township. In March 1961, it was built in the people's commune. In 1984, it was restored to Bayu township. As of October 2019, Bayu township has 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is located at No. 1, Jinbao Road, nanbayu village. Beihezhao village is the hometown of Yang Jisheng, a remonstrant of Ming Dynasty. Tianjin Baotou intercity railway, provincial highway S333 and Tianjin Baotou highway (North line) cross the territory.

In 1950, it belonged to Chengguan District.
In 1953, it was built in Bayu Township, with jurisdiction over five villages, namely dabayu, nanbayu, nanzhangbao, Gongzhuang and dazhangbao. The township government was stationed in dabayu village.
By the end of 1956, it had jurisdiction over 17 villages.
In March 1961, it was built in the people's commune.
In 1984, it was restored to Bayu township.
In August 1990, the township government moved to nanbayu village.
