GUANDAOKOU town

GUANDAOKOU town is located in the north of Lushi County, Sanmenxia City, Henan Province, at the junction of Lushi County, Lingbao City and Luoning County, 35 kilometers away from Lushi County. National Highway 209, Hubei Expressway and Luoyang Lushi Expressway meet and run through in the territory, with obvious traffic advantages. It is the "North Gate" for Lu family to enter and leave Sanmenxia, Luoyang, Zhengzhou and other places. It is a key town in China and an important town in the north of Lu family. The town has a total area of 211 square kilometers (2017), under the jurisdiction of 16 administrative villages, with a population of 21363 (2017). There are national 4A scenic area, western Henan Grand Canyon Scenic Area and Western Henan herb garden scenic area.

In August 2016, GUANDAOKOU town was included in the list of "economically developed pilot towns of administrative system reform in Henan Province".

Historical evolution

According to legend, the town is located in the official, commercial exchanges Lu, Ling, Luo three counties must pass the road, but also surrounded by four mountains, terrain dangerous pass, so named "official road pass.". It belonged to zunxianli from the end of Ming Dynasty to the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930). In 1930, it was divided into four districts. In 1942, it was changed into equal town. After liberation in 1947, baijianfang, qiulianghe, Lingnan and the northern half of GUANDAOKOU street, which were originally under the jurisdiction of Lingbao County, were assigned to Lushi GUANDAOKOU, belonging to Duguan district. GUANDAOKOU Central Township was established in 1956, transferred to Duguan commune in 1958, and restored to Duguan District in 1961. In 1965, the district was withdrawn and returned to the Duguan commune. In 1971, the GUANDAOKOU commune was established. In 1984, the government and society were divided into two groups, the township government and the economic association, which were in charge of administration and economy. In January 1995, the township was removed and the town was built. In 2018, the administrative villages of the whole county were merged and adjusted, and the whole town had jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages.

GUANDAOKOU town is located in the north of Lushi County, Sanmenxia City, Henan Province, at the junction of Lushi County, Lingbao City and Luoning County. It is adjacent to Duguan town in the west, Sihe Township and Sucun township of Lingbao City in the north and northwest, Guxian town of Luoning County in the East and Fanli town in the south, with a total area of 211 square kilometers.

The GUANDAOKOU group consists of gaoshanhe formation, longjiayuan formation, Xunsi formation, Duguan formation and fengjiawan formation from bottom to top, belonging to the late Mesoproterozoic era: the longjiayuan formation of Dian, chert bearing banded dolomite and thick dolomite is banded in GUANDAOKOU, Zhangjiapo, south of caozhoutong and north of Babaoshan.

In the middle part of Yigu mountain, the landform of Zhongshan hill and beixiong nanxiu GUANDAOKOU is mainly composed of crevices, with an average altitude of 880m. Due to the cutting of many rivers, the mountains are seriously broken and the secondary watersheds crisscross in history, presenting a kind of undulating Zhongshan landscape. There are many dangerous peaks and cliffs in the Grand Canyon of western Henan, about 30 kilometers long. The peaks on the west side are between 620-1111.2 meters above sea level and 30-50 meters wide. The canyon falls between the towering Qinling Mountains.

River system

There are three main rivers in GUANDAOKOU Town: Dongyou River, Xunyu (Nanyou) River and GUANDAOKOU River (Qiuliang River). Dongyou river originates from Sanguanmiao village, flows through guonian village and moshang village, and flows into Luoning. Xunyu river originates from jinjiagou village and zhuangke village, flows through Gengjia village and Xinping village, and flows into Luoning. Qiulianghe river originates from gengjiazhuang village and Zhaishang village, flows through Yongdu village, GUANDAOKOU village, baijianfang village, qiulianghe village and Lingnan village, and flows into Lingbao. In addition, the Duguan river flows through Yongdu village of GUANDAOKOU town for a short time at the two boundaries of the town, and the section within the town is called Shagou.
