Mengmiao town

Mengmiao town is located in the northern suburb of Luohe City, Henan Province. It starts from Songjiang Road in the center of Luohe City in the south, ends at Yinghe River in the north, connects the entrance of Beijing Zhuhai Expressway in the East, and faces Beijing Guangzhou high speed railway in the West. It has a total area of 60.3 square kilometers and 46000 mu of cultivated land. Mengmiao town is rich in resources, advantageous geographical location and convenient transportation. It has two 110kV substations and two 220kV substations. Beijing Guangzhou railway and national highway 107 run through the north and south. Li Luo Road and North Ring Road pass through the area. Mengping railway meets Beijing Guangzhou railway here and connects Jiaozhi line to the West. Mengmiao town is the main grain producing area of China and Henan Province.

General situation

Mengmiao town is located in the middle of Yancheng District, Luohe City, bordering the city and county in the south. It is adjacent to Beijing Zhuhai Expressway in the East, 107 national highway, Beijing Guangzhou railway and mengping railway. The geographical location is unique, belonging to the urban-rural fringe. The town covers an area of 60.3 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

Mengmiao town was established in 1984. In 1997, it covers an area of 6.2 square kilometers and has a population of 13000. It has jurisdiction over 30 administrative villages including Bali, Lutang, Hezhuang, pochen, Mengmiao, Zhang Renqing, Sanzhou, guanxu, Pandong, Panxi, Zhangdian, Xuezhao, Yantao, Xiying, laheliu, Wangdian, aihuang, Jiangtang, shenzhao, Duli, Mapo, wuligang, Liuzhuang, Yingzhang, wulimiao, zhuocan, Zhongcun, houzheng and Xinzheng.

Mengmiao town has 4 communities, 26 administrative villages and 52 natural villages. The communities include Li village, Zhong village, Zhuo village and houzheng community. The administrative villages include Sanzhou village, Mengmiao village, zhangrenzhuang village, guanxu village, Zhangdian village, Xuezhao village, Xiying village, Yantao village, Pandong village, Panxi village, Panbei village, Lanhe village, Wangdian village, Yuanhuang village, Jiangtang village, shenzhao village and Duli village Village, Lutang village, Bali village, Hezhuang village, pochen village, Xinzheng village.

Economic situation

With the development of industrial economy and the emergence of private enterprises, the town has more than 300 large-scale enterprises of various types, forming five industrial structures: food processing, metallurgy and casting, building materials, paper packaging and transportation. Sanhuan Food Industrial Park is a unique one, with nearly 200 enterprises in the park. It is dominated by the food industry. It has 160 modern food production lines, such as Xiangmi cake, Xuemi cake, ultrathin cake, French cake, Weihua cake, steamed bread, egg yolk pie and so on, with a daily production capacity of 2500 tons. It was named "East West cooperation demonstration zone" by the Ministry of agriculture.

The investment environment is excellent. The town Party committee and government have vigorously implemented the "export driven" strategy, simplified procedures, implemented "one-stop" service for foreign investment, and issued a series of preferential policies to encourage foreign investment. The town has attracted more than 20 foreign investors, which has injected vitality into the economic development of Mengmiao town.

Private economy is active. The town has developed 2500 private enterprises, more than 28000 employees, fixed assets investment of 320 million yuan. It has formed four leading industries, including metallurgical casting, food processing, flour machine installation, leather and shoes making, established more than 10 famous brands, such as Xiaoshuai Cai, xiaoyingcai, Huta, etc., and more than 20 kinds of products have obtained provincial and ministerial excellent certificates.

The scale of the park is expanding. As the food processing industry base of Mengmiao Town, Sanhuan food city was named "East West cooperation demonstration zone" by the Ministry of agriculture in 1998. In 2001, Sanhuan Food City Management Committee was awarded "East West cooperation advanced collective" by the provincial government. There are more than 300 enterprises at all levels in the urban area, with 118 modern food production lines, 350 tons of raw grain per day. The products involve more than 310 varieties of four series, such as snow rice cake, egg yolk pie, flour cake and beverage. The products sell well in 25 provinces, cities and autonomous regions.

There are abundant agricultural and sideline products. It mainly produces wheat, corn, vegetables, tobacco, cotton, sesame and so on. It is the main grain production area of the country and Henan Province, and has broad prospects for the development of agricultural and sideline products processing.

According to the unified arrangement of the district Party committee and the district government for the new rural construction, the Party committee and the government of Mengmiao town have formulated a long-term plan for the new rural construction based on the situation of the town, and solidly promote the new rural construction through typical guidance and from point to area.

First, formulate development plans. Township and village level cadres went deep into each village to visit the masses, understand the situation of the village, and formulate a five-year plan for the development of the new countryside.

Second, create a strong atmosphere.
