Taoluo town

Tao Zhen Town, belonging to Donggang District of Rizhao City, Shandong, is located in the southern part of Donggang, east of the Yellow Sea, south of Hushan Town, West to Jufeng Town, happy town, and north to Kui Shan Street, with an area of 112 square kilometers, and in 2018, 73061 registered residence population.

In Xia and Shang Dynasties, the territory belonged to Dongyi, also known as renfang. From the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Warring States period, it belonged to the state of Ju. In Tang Dynasty, it belonged to daomizhou (Gaomi County), Henan Province. In the early Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Rizhao County, Ju Prefecture, Qingzhou Prefecture. In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Rizhao County, Yizhou Prefecture. The first year of the Republic of China (1912), under the Jiaodong road Rizhao county. In January 1963, taoluo district was rebuilt. In May 1985, it was renamed taoluo town. As of June 2020, taoluo town has 75 administrative villages.
