Laomiao township (also known as Laoyemiao township) is located in the east of Huaxian County, Henan Province, in the old Yellow River. With a total land area of 79.55 square kilometers, it has 58 administrative villages, 72 natural villages and 51386 people.
In terms of administrative division, the people's Government of Laoyemiao township is located in laoyemiaoji. Laoyemiao township is 45km southeast of Hua county, adjacent to Sangcun Township in the East, Gaoping Township in the south, Wangu town in the west, Dazhai Township and baliying Township in the north, and she Township in Changyuan County in the southeast. Division evolution
In the first year of Xuantong (1909), it was under the jurisdiction of Guangjiao and Guangneng. At present, there are 13 large-scale enterprises in Laomiao Township, mainly producing soft packed beef, with 17 idle factories and empty yards, among which Laomiao beef factory covers an area of 22644 square meters and a construction area of 4800 square meters. The remaining 16 are no less than 6500 square meters. in 2014, the edible fungus production base was established in chenjiaying village of Laomiao Township, which greatly promoted the economic development.
