Miaojie township is located in the northwest of Wugang City, with a total area of 56.3 square kilometers. It governs 12 administrative villages, 86 villager groups, and a total population of 15575 (2017). The township government is located in miaojie village. Mountains, hills and plains account for 1 / 3 of the total area, and the source of the river is Mt. siniaoshan.

Miaojie township is adjacent to Ye County in the West and Fangcheng County in the southwest. Miaojie is adjacent to Pingwu railway in the East and Pingzhu highway in the north, with convenient transportation. Jiulongshan is a small hill located in miaojie township of Wugang City. Jiulong Mountain is southwest northeast, about 4km long and 1km wide, with an altitude of 400m. It is adjacent to Gezhuang reservoir and siziangshan in the south, xiaoshimantan reservoir in the north, golden mountain in the southwest, Langwo mountain in the west, county-level highway qiaoyin road in the East, and township cement road in the north to the foot of the mountain.

Similar to the Sphinx and monkey stone of Egypt, the windstone is a natural stone with uncanny craftsmanship and unique ornamental value. The wind rock is a typical granite texture, which is supposed to be formed by cooling of massive slurry. Crocodile stone, also known as Yimu stone, is a pictographic mountain stone with complete structure. There is an arc on the surface of the stone, and the arc is small. From a distance, it looks like a smooth curve drawn out, which looks like a crocodile just coming out of the water. It lies on the ground to observe the movement and wait for food. The surface of the stone is smooth, the stone quality is tight, and there are small particles on the stone surface. From the appearance, it is a typical trace of spherical weathering. The stone covers an area of about 700 square meters, larger than one mu of land, so it is also called one mu stone. The knife splits the stone, also known as the grinding stone. On the west side of Yimu stone, the stone is peach shaped in appearance, about 10 meters high and 5 meters wide. The color is dark red. When you look closer, you can see that the stone surface is covered with small gravel. There was a gap in the middle of the stone, about 10 cm wide, as if it had been cut by a knife. There is a local legend about this stone. It is said that in ancient times, the stone could grow tens of meters a day until it stood up against the sky, grinding with the sky every day. The Jade Emperor was worried about the collapse of the sky, so he sent Guan Gong here to cut off the stone with a knife. Guan Er Yeh was lazy and easy-going. He cut the top of the stone and went back to deliver the work. However, the stone was still growing wildly, so he came here for the second time and made a vertical chop. Monkey stone is about 3 meters high, with a stone on it. From the south, it looks like a monkey is pressed under the stone. According to local legend, when the monkey king defeated the queen of the ox demon and saw the beautiful scenery here, there were so many fruits in the mountain that he didn't want to go back to Huaguo Mountain. Coincidentally, although this is not Huaguo Mountain, local people have been planting fruit trees for generations. Jiulong Mountain has developed into a small fruit production base in Wugang City.

There are traces to be found in the dragon's claw stone. Longzhuoshi has a size of 10 square meters, which is composed of several pieces of gravel. According to local records, this stone was caused by lightning strike in 1959. The local people quoted the legend and named it longzhuoshi.
