Dongshiduan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xushui District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Xushui District, 7 kilometers away from the county seat in the southwest, Nanzhang town of Rongcheng County in the East, Gucheng town of Dingxing County in the north, Gaolin town in the West and Cuizhuang town in the south. The maximum distance from east to west is 8.4 dry meters, and the maximum distance from north to south is 7.5 kilometers, with a total area of 42.36 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Dong Shi registered residence was 38504.

In the Northern Song Dynasty, the eastern end of history was the boundary between song and Liao. In 1961, Dongshiduan commune was established. In 1984, Dongshiduan township was rebuilt. In March 2017, the Department of civil affairs of Hebei Province approved the cancellation of Dongshiduan Township in Xushui District of Baoding city and the establishment of Dongshiduan town. As of June 2020, Dongshiduan town has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Nanying village. There are S333 provincial highway, Beijing Hong Kong Macao expressway, Tianjin Baotou highway, Tianjin Baotou intercity railway and Beijing Shijiazhuang railway. Beili lion dance in Dongshiduan town is the representative of lion dance in northern China. On January 9, 2019, Dongshiduan town was selected as the "hometown of Chinese folk culture and art" in 2018-2020 by virtue of lion dance.

Dongshiduan town is a Piedmont sloping alluvial plain landform, high in the West and low in the East. The highest point is 58 meters above sea level. Six villages in the eastern half are low-lying. Among them, Chenzhuang and Liangzhuang are dished depressions, with the lowest point at an altitude of 12 meters. The soil is mostly loam, and the soil nutrient content is low.
