Luquantun town is located on the East Bank of Wei canal and in the northwest of Wucheng county. Its office is 15km away from the seat of Wucheng county government. It borders Wucheng town and Sinusi town in the East, Jiamaying Township in the south, Weiyun canal in the West and North, and Gucheng County in Hebei Province across the river. The town is located in the Hebei Shandong plain, the terrain is high in the West and low in the East, and the East is located at the edge of the flood detention area of enbeiwa. The maximum distance between East and West is 15.45 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 12.45 km. The total area is 8110 hectares, including 5139 hectares of cultivated land. The main river is Wei canal, with a flow length of 8.5 km. The main crops are wheat, corn, millet, sweet potato, cotton, peanut, soybean, watermelon, etc. The vegetation area of the town is 6700 hectares, covering 82.6%.
In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.
Brief introduction of villages and towns
Luquantun town is located in the northwest of Wucheng county. From east to west, it is connected with Sinusi Town, Wucheng Town, Guangyun street and Jiamaying town. In the northwest, it faces Gucheng County of Hebei Province across the canal. It covers an area of 165 square kilometers, with 111990 mu of arable land and 82 villages under its jurisdiction. In 2017, the town's GDP was 5 billion yuan, the local fiscal revenue was 340 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 14686 yuan. By the end of 2017, the total population of the town was 72000, including 58000 urban people, with a birth rate of 15.93 ‰, a mortality rate of 4.64 ‰, and a natural growth rate of 11.29 ‰. There was one ethnic minority, Hui nationality, with a total of 727 people. It has won the titles of "national advanced unit of small town construction", "national pilot town of development and reform", "national key town", "characteristic industrial town of Shandong Province" and "key demonstration town of Shandong Province".

Historical evolution
Administrative evolution
In the Yongle period of Ming Dynasty (1403-1424), Lu Quan, Ren Zheng, Guan Zeng, Guan GUI and other four cousins moved from Jimo and settled here. Because Lu Quan was old and respected, the six villages of Lu Heng, Guan Xinzhuang, Guan Heng, Ren Heng, Chen Heng and Wang Heng where the four brothers and their descendants lived were collectively called Lu Quan tun. In 1958, Luquantun management area of tengzhuang commune was established. In April 1965, the scope of the commune was narrowed, and the management area was merged with Xingzhuang management area to establish Luquantun people's commune. In 1984, the commune was changed into a township. On November 23, 1993, the township was withdrawn and the administrative division was adjusted. Eighteen villages in the south of Mazhuang Township were assigned to Luquantun town. On June 18, 2008, with the approval of the provincial government, tengzhuang town and Luquantun town in Wucheng county were merged, and the original administrative division of tengzhuang town was put under the jurisdiction of Luquantun town. In 2011, the organizational system of Sinusi town was restored, and the original jurisdiction of Sinusi town was divided.
The origin of the name
Luquantun town is commonly known as wuheng Liuchu, which is composed of Renheng, Luheng, guanheng, chenheng, WangHeng and guanxinzhuang. According to Ren's genealogy, Lu Quan, Ren Zheng and Guan GUI's cousins immigrated from Jimo during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty. Because Lu Quan was older, they called their residence Lu Quan tun.
History and culture
Lu Quantun is a land of outstanding people and talents since ancient times. At the end of Sui Dynasty, Dou Jiande, a righteous scholar in Zhangnan, set off an anti Sui uprising based on this area, which was known as Hebei volunteer army in history. After Dou Jiande was defeated and captured, he was killed in Chang'an. Liu heikai, his general, picked up the remains and built altars in Zhangnan village, leaving behind some historic sites such as dianjiangtai and the legend of Zhangnan in the new moon.
From the seventh year of Wude (624) of Tang Dynasty to the first year of he (1054) of Song Dynasty, Zhangnan Town, as the seat of Zhangnan County, existed for more than 400 years. In May 2006, a number of stone carvings of temples in the second year of Tiaolu (680) of Tang Dynasty were unearthed in Zhangnan town. In the Ming Dynasty, Wu Zhong, a native of Dawu village, was appointed Minister of the Ministry of industry of Yongle, Hongxi, Xuande and Zhengtong dynasties for nearly 40 years. He presided over the construction of Beijing Palace, Changling, jingling and Xianling. Li xiantun, qingsuchang and other villages along the canal in the territory have left the official kiln sites of burning tribute bricks since the yuan and Ming Dynasties.
Economic situation
In the early days of the people's Republic of China, the total income of rural economy in the town was 1.6 million yuan, 12 million yuan in 1978 and 1.087 billion yuan in 2000. The proportion of primary industry, secondary industry and tertiary industry in the total income of rural economy is 7 ∶ 57 ∶ 19 respectively. In 2000, the local fiscal revenue was 11.84 million yuan, and the balance of social and Financial deposits was 480 million yuan at the end of the year. FRP, aluminum alloy, bakelite bearing bush and fur are the four pillar industries of the town. In particular, there are processing points for FRP in 47 villages of the town, and 70% of the labor force participates in its production and sales.
Since the introduction of FRP production in 1975, the town has rapidly become an important FRP production base in the country. The proportion of the secondary and tertiary industries in the total agricultural income has increased rapidly. Since 1980, the town has been awarded the title of advanced unit for the development of township enterprises by Dezhou municipal government, ranking first in the county's township financial revenue. Since 1993, it has been one of the top ten towns in Dezhou City for many years. In 2000, there were 3 medium-sized first-class enterprises in the town, namely Shandong Jinguang FRP group, Shandong Wucheng Huaneng FRP Products Co., Ltd. and Shandong Zhongnan group; 4 medium-sized second-class enterprises, namely Wucheng FRP bakelite bearing products General Factory, Shandong Zhenyu group company, Dezhou Hengchun group and Wucheng Ganquan fur factory; 4 industrial and trade zones; 3 market markets; 16 village industrial districts There are 167 small enterprises, more than 2100 processing points and individual industrial processing households. The honorary titles include: national advanced collective of rural science popularization, National 500 pilot towns of small town construction, pilot towns of one hundred new projects of small town construction in Shandong Province, central towns in Shandong Province, safe and civilized towns in Shandong Province, demonstration zones of township enterprises at provincial level, civilized and polite units at municipal level, and advanced towns of private economy in the city.
Memorabilia
In April 1965, Luquantun people's commune was established. In 1968, Zhangnan town substation was built for power supply. In May 1969, Wucheng county held a meeting for the formation of an independent militia division. As the only militia company specially invited to the meeting, beiganquan villagers' army company performed.
In April 1975, the second congress of the poor and lower middle peasants in Shandong Province was held. Liu Xiangkun, deputy secretary of the commune Party committee, made a typical speech on behalf of the commune poverty Association. That year, Yuan Hongjiang, the person in charge of lixiantun village run enterprise, led Zheng Qingling and other four members to study FRP production technology in Dezhou cotton factory, which opened the prelude of FRP production in the whole town. Su Jinchang, a salesman of village run enterprises in SuZhuang village, invited Xue Jinyu, a FRP technician from Northeast China, and opened up another FRP production technology channel.
In 1979, under the leadership of Wang Xinghua, Secretary of the commune Party committee, and Wang Jinfeng, director of the Revolutionary Committee, the commune established Wucheng FRP company and Wucheng light industry machinery factory to strengthen the support and management of the FRP industry.
In 1981, Luquantun commune set up an industrial supply and marketing company to purchase and distribute FRP raw materials, which broke through the "intestinal obstruction" of popularizing FRP production. In that year, the earth bricks produced by Mazhuang brick factory were rated as excellent industrial products of Shandong commune.
In 1982, under the leadership of Wang Youxiang, Secretary of the commune Party committee, and Yuan Jinxi, director of the commune farm tool factory, the commune farm tool factory and the fourth design and Research Institute of the Ministry of machinery industry jointly developed the FRP cooling tower. In 1983, it passed the provincial technical appraisal and was rated as an excellent product by the Ministry of agriculture, animal husbandry and fisheries. Luquantun farm tool factory was renamed as Wucheng County FRP General Factory Colleges and universities, research institutions linked to the upsurge.
In 1985, Tian (Zhuang) Dai (Guantun) road was paved with asphalt, which is the first asphalt road running through the town and connecting with the outside world. In 1990, Zheng (Kou) Hao (Wangzhuang) road across the town was paved with asphalt, and the traffic trunk line of the town was formed.
In 1993, Luquantun town moved eastward, covering an area of 80 hectares, with 3 main streets and 10 auxiliary streets. The next year, the framework of the new area was basically formed, and most of the party, government, enterprises and institutions such as the town government, credit cooperatives, post and Telecommunications Bureau, Wucheng County FRP plant moved into the new area, which brought out a number of new enterprises. In 1995, Luquantun town was rated as one of the pilot towns of small town construction in China and one of the 100 new projects of small town construction in the whole province.
On October 4, 1995, Shi Guangyi, Secretary of the town Party committee, presided over the conference of mobilizing 1000 people for the development of private economy. This is the largest gathering since the "Cultural Revolution", which has laid an important ideological foundation for the vigorous development of the town's private economy.
From August 4 to 14, 1996, the Wei canal was flooded. The largest amount of water was second only to 1964. More than 600 hectares of canal beach in the town was flooded, resulting in a direct economic loss of more than 5 million yuan. That year, Han Xikai, deputy secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, came to visit the victims and inspect the enterprises.
In 1997, Wucheng County FRP general plant was rebuilt into Shandong Jinguang FRP group company, which is the largest FRP production enterprise in the province in terms of scale and product sales.
