Huangguan sub district office was established in July 2000. It is located in the central area of Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shandong Province. It is connected with the marine park and century sports and leisure park. It is about 2 kilometers away from Weihai port passenger transport center, Weihai railway station, intercity railway terminal and long-distance passenger transport terminal. Historical evolution

The name of haopo originates from an ancient legend: in the 13th year of Hongwu, the flood flooded the Pengshan area of Wendeng County, and three of the Yang brothers left home to escape from the famine. So far, the eldest brother chose a place of haolai to settle down, that is, the name of haopo Village. Fenglin district was established in August 1945. In September 1958, Fenglin commune moved from Fenglin to haopo. In 1981, it was renamed haopo commune. In 1982, with an area of 70 square kilometers and a population of 31700, there were 38 natural villages, which were divided into 39 production teams (including 2 fishery teams) and 160 production teams (including 10 fishery teams). In March 1984, haopo commune was abolished and haopo town was established. On December 24, 1992, luzhenghanminzi No. 60 approved the withdrawal of the town and the establishment of haopo street. On January 18, 1993, weizhengfa No. 3 approved that haopo street was transferred from Huancui District to economic and Technological Development Zone. On June 30, 2000, Wei Zheng Zi No. 24 approved the revocation of haopo street and the establishment of three streets: Huangguan, Fenglin and Xiyuan. In 2005, with an area of 22 square kilometers and a population of 20000, Huangguan street had jurisdiction over one neighborhood committee of Huangguan and seven administrative villages of Changfeng, Beishan, yangjiatan, Laoji, goubei, Haibu and Chengzi.
