Huili town

Huili Town, Fushan District, Yantai City, is located in the southeast of Fushan District, bordering Muping in the East and south, Qixia in the West and Menlou town in the north. It covers an area of 103.25 square kilometers. The town government is in xihuili. It is 20 kilometers south of Yantai City, 21 kilometers north of Yantai seaport and 3 kilometers away from Yantai civil aviation airport. The blue tobacco railway and national highway 204 pass through the town government station respectively, 16 kilometers north and south. The traffic and communication conditions are very convenient.

evolution

In Ming and Qing Dynasties, the town belonged to Southeast Baonan societies. At the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to Xinglong district and Wangyuan district respectively. In 1934, it was the third district, and in 1945, it was Shizishan district. In July 1956, it belonged to Huangshan, Wangyuan and tanjiazhuang. In 1958, the three townships merged to form tanjiazhuang commune, which was renamed Huili commune in 1978. In 1984, it was changed to Huili town.

Topography

The terrain in the territory is the continuation of the Yashan mountains, high in the West and low in the East, with undulating mountains, belonging to hilly areas. 14.5km south of the county, at the east foot of Sancha Stone Mountain, Wangyuan is in the south of the village. There is a huge stone in kuangli, which is called "dragon stone" locally. In kuanggou, the huge stone is green and yellow, and it bends alternately. It looks like "dragon body", 18.5M long and 15.8m wide. There is a stream flowing on it, which looks like dragon body moving. "Dragon head" is located in the farmland 25 meters southwest of the dragon body. Huangshan hospital

Located 23 kilometers south of the city, south of West Huangshan Village, at the foot of Huangshan. It was built in the fourth year of Zhiping (1067) of the Northern Song Dynasty, with more than 40 halls.
