Sangcun town
Sangcun Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shanting District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, is located in the Huaihe River Basin, southwest of Yimeng mountain area, west of Shanting District, adjacent to Shancheng street in the East, Mushi town in the south, Dongshahe town in the West and Chengtou town in the north, with a total administrative area of 66.54 square kilometers.
In the Zhengtong period of the Ming Dynasty, it was called Anle township; in the late Qing Dynasty, silkworm rearing and mulberry planting were greatly promoted here, which was called sang village. In November 1983, it was put under the new Shanting District. In March 1992, the township was withdrawn to build Sangcun town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Sang village was 55590. As of June 2020, Sangcun town has 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2016, the gross output value of Sangcun town was 1.785 billion yuan, the added value of the secondary industry was 1.052 billion yuan, and the added value of the tertiary industry was 559 million yuan.
