Yanya town

Yanya Town, belonging to Yiyuan County, Zibo City, Shandong Province, is located in the central and southern part of Yiyuan County. It is connected with Shiqiao Town in the East, Zhongzhuang town in the south, Mengyin County in the southwest, Nanma town and DAZHANGZHUANG town in the West and Yuezhuang town in the north. The area is 125.86 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 29725 people registered residence.

In December 1958, Yanya commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to Yanya township. In September 2010, Yanya town was set up. In June 2020, Yanya town governs 44 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 20 industrial enterprises in Yanya Town, including 4 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 105 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

The landform of Yanya town is complex, with hills, mountains, plains, basins and valleys. The terrain is high in the west, low in the East, high in the South and low in the north. The ground elevation is generally 100-120 meters, with the highest point at qingniu mountain, 695 meters above sea level, and the lowest point at Baima River, 21 meters above sea level.

hydrology

Yihe River passes through the northeast of Yanya town. Baima River originates from the southwest highland of Yanya town and flows into Yihe River to the north and East.

Zhongyanya town in Niulang Zhinv scenic area is the birthplace of love culture legend of Niulang Zhinv, which was listed as national intangible cultural heritage in 2008.
