Fufang Township
Fufang Township, subordinate to Nanfeng County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the east of the southern border of Nanfeng County, at the north foot of the middle section of Wuyi Mountains. It is adjacent to Lixin town of Jianning County in the southeast, Baishe town and Qianshan township of Guangchang county in the southwest, Taihe Town in the north, and the Nanjian line runs through the whole area, covering a total area of 164 square kilometers. Historical evolution
In the late Qing Dynasty, Fufang belonged to Kangdu district.
During the period of the Republic of China, Fufang belonged to Sangtian, Taihe and Kangdu townships.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to four districts. In 1958, Fufang people's commune was established. In 1961, Shizui commune was set up in Shizui, Tianxin and Hetang. In 1967, Shizui commune was abolished and merged into Fufang commune. In 1984, Fufang commune was transformed into Fufang township.
