E Feng Township

E-feng township is located in the south of the eastern suburb of Wanzai county. Changli highway, Tongwan highway, 320 National Highway and Wanfang highway run through it. Jinjiang river meanders through the township with beautiful scenery. "E-feng towering green", "stalagmites flying in the air" and "xiaolingqiaoge" are selected as the eight old sceneries of Wanzai county. With a total area of 72.54 square kilometers, the township is rich in dolomite, coal and river sand resources. In 1986, efeng Township had 14 administrative villages, including efeng, Fuxing, Dongsheng, Liquan, Dongxi, yankeng, Yilian, Butang, Tuquan, Dongtian, Changjiang, Tianjiang, Duojiang and Shishan, with 182 villager groups, covering a total area of 92.08 square kilometers and 2069.9 hectares of cultivated land. On August 18, 1994, with the approval of the Ministry of agriculture, efeng township was listed in the first batch of "East West cooperation demonstration zone for township enterprises in China". In March 1998, due to the adjustment of administrative divisions, four administrative villages, Fuxing, efeng (now shizibu Village), Dongsheng and Liquan, originally under the jurisdiction of efeng Township, Dongxi reservoir and Shanmu forest farm were transferred to Kangle town. In 2005, Dongxi, yankeng, Butang, Yilian, Tuquan, Changjiang, Tianjiang, Dongtian, Duojiang nine administrative villages and stalagmite forest farm, 125 villager groups, and the total population in 2011 reached more than 20000.
