Heshi town

Heshi town is a town under the jurisdiction of Taihe County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. It is located on the north side of the west of the county and on both sides of Rushui (niuhou river section). It was formerly known as Zaohe city. It is an important agricultural town in central Jiangxi Province, with an area of 137.65 square kilometers and a permanent population of 20329 (2017).

Heshi Town, Taihe County has excellent ecological environment and rich tourism resources. The largest river in the territory is Yushui (niuhou river section). Niuhou River (downstream section of Fushui River) flows into Luoxi town from southwest to northeast. Evolution of organizational system

Heshi town was the capital of 66 cities in Qing Dynasty. During the agrarian revolution, a red regime was once established, under the leadership of Taixi District, and later a Red Army guerrilla area. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was Gaode township. At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liangjiang, Yuantou, guanpi, Pingyuan, Wawu and Lutan townships of seven districts (Heshi District). In 1956, Heshi township was merged and established. In 1958, it was changed into Heshi commune. In 1961, it was divided into Heshi commune, Guanping commune and Luyuan commune. Heshi town was established on November 3, 1985.

Xulun Hall

Xulun hall is the middle building of Shizhong No.1 ancestral hall in zengzhuang village of Heshi town. Shizhong No.1 ancestral hall was built by the ancestors of Jiang family who learned from Kong Gong and led the people in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. It is an ancient civilization building. The front building of Shizhong No.1 ancestral hall is Zhengxin hall, the middle building is Xulun hall, and the back building is Jingxian hall. There is a Chishu Pavilion on it. The whole building is 50 meters long, 30 meters wide and about 1500 square meters.
