Lintan Township
Lintan Township, subordinate to Chongyi County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the west of Chongyi County, in the middle and upper reaches of Lintan River, 43 kilometers away from the county seat. The total area is 93.26 square kilometers, and the registered residence population is about 7 thousand and 900 people (2018). It has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages (2019) and the township government in the village of Du Shi.

Historical evolution
Ming Zhengde 15 years (1520), belong to Guiren Township yanhuli.
In 1938, Lianbao was changed into a township and Lintan township was established.
On August 20, 1949, the people's Government of Chongyi county was established. Lintan Township belongs to guobu district.
On July 23, 1950, Jieba and Lintan districts were added. Lintan District governs Lintan, Guting, Fengzhou, Liangjie, Meijia, chixue, Shangbao, Zhengzhuang and other townships.
On April 20, 1955, Shixia and Lintan townships were merged into one township.
On November 12, 1958, the "people's commune" system was implemented, and Lintan people's commune was set up.

It also develops characteristic industries such as thorn grape, greenhouse vegetables, navel orange, South sour jujube, medicinal materials, bamboo, Camellia oleifera, beekeeping, etc. Lintan Township encouraged farmers to develop thorn grape planting, built Liangjie thorn grape base and Longfeng thorn grape base, built "Liangjie grape ditch" and promoted thorn grape garden planting. The thorn grape industry in the township developed rapidly, with more than 680 mu of thorn grape planting area and more than 350 participating farmers, becoming a well-known "thorn grape town".
