TieShiKou town

TieShiKou Town, subordinate to Xinfeng County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the south of Xinfeng County, with an area of 86 square kilometers and a population of 40428 (2010). It has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages, 3 neighborhood committees and 175 villager groups. Historical evolution

Named after TieShiKou polder. On the eve of liberation, it was Jifu township. At the beginning of liberation, it belonged to TieShiKou Township, Jifu Township and Xinzhuang township of Xiaojiang district. In 1958, it belonged to Xiaojiang commune. In 1961, it was separated from Xiaojiang commune and established Jifu commune. It was changed to Jifu Township in 1984 and TieShiKou town in May 1987.
