Sili town

Sili town is located in the north of Guixi City, Jiangxi Province. It is named after Sili bridge. It is adjacent to Hetan in the East, Zhoufang in the north, Jinsha in the West and Binjiang in the south, with a total area of 148 square kilometers. It governs 15 year administrative villages and two farms, with a total population of 28807. Anhui Jiangxi railway runs through the north and south, Guishen highway runs through the whole territory, the town government is only 13 kilometers away from the urban area, all of which are rural first-class cement pavement. history

Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belongs to Longyan township of Xialing district and Sili township of Sili district. In 1950, it belonged to Zhongcun township of Shenqian district and Sili, chishi, Yinjia, zhouwan township of Sili district. Sili commune was established in 1958. In 1983, it was changed into Sili Township, and in 1993, it was changed into Sili town. On the Bank of Xinjiang River in Jiangxi Province, China, at the entrance of Guixi of Shanghai Kunming expressway, a place named after Sili River, a tributary of Xinjiang River, is located at the south end of Shentai mountain, a branch of huaiyushan mountain. There are 13 administrative villages and 150 natural villages in the town, which have jurisdiction over 6800 households with a population of 31000. The residents are mainly Han and she people, covering an area of 148 square kilometers (including 42000 mu of cultivated land, 96000 mu of mountainous land and 6000 mu of water surface). Economics

The total land area of the town is 14800 hectares, and the forest land is 6600 hectares. There are many types of vegetation. Agriculture

Sili is an important grain producing area and cash crop producing area in Guixi. The main grain is high-quality hybrid rice. The economic crops are peanut, rape, strawberry, sweet and common, and the fruits are watermelon, melon, orange, peach and plum. The total grain output has been stable at about 19600 tons, 7800 tons of commodity grain are provided to the state every year, 32000 live pigs are sold in the town every year, and the output of aquatic products is 621 tons. Sili town is the largest ginkgo production base in surrounding cities, with a total planting area of 1000 mu. Ginkgo biloba is a first-class protected plant in China. Sili was the focus of the Soviet and white areas during the democratic revolution in the 20th century, for which 700 martyrs died. Siligan is also the hometown of culture. In the fifth year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty, Jiang Yida and Jiang Yichao were famous as "two Jinshi in one family". Jiang Zhonghua, a student from Tsinghua University, was the first student in the history of more than 400 college students (including 4 doctors and 12 Masters).
